3. GUIDELINES FOR ONLINE REGISTRATION 3.1 GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS 1. The applicants should read this chapter carefully before doing online registration. 2. Information about various Institutions/Colleges/University departments is compiled based on the information provided by the respective Institutions/Colleges/University departments. For further information and clarifications, the candidate is advised to contact the respective Institutions/Colleges/ University departments or they may visit the ACPC site www. jacpcldce.ac.in and click on to know your college portal. 3. It may clearly be noted that the Admission Committee allots seats to the candidates based on their merit position who have qualified in the CMAT-2015 but the final admission will be confirmed only by the respective University on sumbission of eligibility certificate if required. The Admission Committee will not be responsible if any university does not issue the eligibility certificate to a particular candidate for any reason whatsoever. 4. The medium of instruction for MBA/MCA in all the Universities of the State is English. 5. Any change or modification of the rules/guidelines/instructions given in this bulletin and Government Resolution and / or Government Act relating to MBA/MCA admission shall be binding concerned. 6. The final eligibility will be checked / decided at the time of allotment of seats by Admission Committee and at the time of giving admission by the respective Institute/ACPC. Registration of the candidate or appearance in the CMAT-2015 does not confirm eligibility of the candidate. 7. In case of any dispute arising out of the interpretation of any provision of the Government notification governing the MBA/MCA 2015, the final decision in all such cases shall be of the Education Department, Government of Gujarat. 8. As the allotment of students to different institutes will be made strictly on the basis of merit, seats available and the choice of the candidate, there will be no mutual exchange of students/transfer of students between different institutes will be permited after the final reshuffling-round and during the entire course of study as such an exercise will result in distortion of merit and nullify the entire purpose of centralized admission. 9. In case, due to unavoidable/unforeseen circumstances, if it becomes necessary to make any change in the counseling schedule, the same will be notified on the ACPC link of the website http://www.jacpcldce.ac.in and on the notice boards of help centers. The candidates, therefore, are requested to see the ACPC website/ notice boards of the help centers periodically. No personal / postal communication will be made in this regard. 10. Any dispute arising out the ACPC admission process shall be within the jurisdiction of the courts in Ahmedabad. 3.2 Guidelines for Online Registration of MBA/MCA-2015 1. All information related to Web based counseling will be displayed on the website http://www.jacpcldce.ac.in, candidates are advised to visit the same regularly to know the latest updates. 2. To participate in online admission for MBA / MCA-2015 activities, it is mandatory for every candidate to register himself / herself through the link on the website http://www.jacpcldce.ac.in or http://www.gujacpc.nic.in as per the counseling schedule. 3. Candidates can register themselves from anywhere through internet link provided on the above mentioned website only. 28
4. Call centre: To address basic query, ACPC has established a call centre on the number (079) 26566000 5. Registration: Candidate has to purchase the PIN cover from the counter of any of the designated branches of Punjab National Bank by paying necessary charges. Inside the PIN cover User ID & 14 Digit Pin is printed. Using this User ID and PIN candidate has to complete the online registration on the website. Refer instruction at 3.3 for filling form for online registration. If Candidate is having difficulty to register online on his/her own, he/she can send email on the address mbamca2013@gmail.com or contact any of the help centre or can contact Help Line No. (079) 26566000 Candidates are advised in their own interest to keep above user-id, PIN and password confidential till the admission process is over, to avoid misuse by another candidate / person, for which ACPC shall not be responsible. Candidate has to fill all the relevant details very carefully, there is provision of edit and submit button, candidate can edit his application form details as many time as his/her wish, however once the candidate submits the same, no further change shall be permitted. Candidates are advised to save their registration form & confirm registration details. Candidate has to contact central control room, ACPC, Ahmedabad for any change required in non editable field with relevant supportive documents. 6. Registration Acknowledgement: Candidate has to report to the nearest Help Centre along with duly signed application form and photo copy of required documents to get registration acknowledgement slip. 7. Forgot/ Change Password: Use PIN to change/generate new password. 8. In case if you misplace your USER ID, PIN the same shall be allotted by paying Rs. 50/- as an administrative charge at ACPC Office, Ahmedabad 3.3 Instructions for filling Application Form online for Registration After obtaining User-ID & PIN from the counter of any of the designated branches of Punjab National Bank, log on to website https:/www.gujacpc.nic.in from anywhere on the internet for online registration. The window as shown in Fig.3.1. will appear on the screen. To register as a new candidate click the Click Here New Registration button. By doing so, New window will be displayed on the computer screen as shown in Fig. 3.2. By selecting MBA/MCA/MBC option window will be opened on the computer screen as shown in Fig. 3.3. The candidate has to choose course name by selecting an appropriate option MBA/MCA/MBC. After that, enter CMAT Roll No. (If candidate has appeared in more than one CMAT test, write CMAT Roll No. in which maximum score is obtained), User ID and 14 digit PIN, Name as per the CMAT score card and other details in the appropriate box. Verify the details entered and if every detail entered are correct, click Submit button. Then, the online Registration Form will be displayed on the computer screen as shown in Fig. 3.4. Candidate has to fill up his personal and other details in the required format displayed in candidate registration form. Candidates shall fill marks of SSC, HSC, Graduation obtained out of grand total. In case of grade point (SPI/CP/CGPA), fill equivalent % as per conversion formula used in respective board/university. Candidates, who have done Bachelor of Computer Application or Bachelor of Science (IT) or Bachelor or Science (Computer) and want to take admission in MCA second year lateral entry, shall tick Yes in the registration detail. 29

Verify the entries made and if every detail found correct then choose I accept option at the bottom of the form, if the declaration is acceptable to you. On selecting I accept option, candidate will be allowed to click the SUBMIT button. In case any mandatory information not filled then registration will not be completed. In such case the incomplete fields will be highlighted by * with red colour or message will be displayed. Provide the incomplete information and click SUBMIT button. By doing so, a Registration details will be generated as show in Fig. 3.5. If it is required to make any corrections then press Edit Registration Details button. The online Registration Form will appear with already filled details which can be edited by the candidate. After editing, if every details found correct, click Confirm Registration Details button. No changes to registration details will be allowed after this. The candidate will be able to take printout of the Registration Details only after pressing Confirm Registration Details button. The candidate can click the Print Your Details button for printing Registration Details. Refer Fig. 3.5. For the confirmation of registration at Help Center, the candidate have to take printout of the Registration Details (two copies). Self-attested copies of all relevant documents (as per the list mentioned at the bottom of the Registration Details) should be attached with the Registration Details. Both candidate as well as parent/guardian of the candidate has to compulsorily sign the Registration Details at the space provided. The candidate then has to visit any nearby Help Center alongwith Registration Details and necessary attachments as well as all relevant original documents, compulsorily. If found necessary, then the officer of Help Centre will retain all original documents and will give receipt for the same. The officer at the Help Center will verify the Registration Details and photocopies of relevant documents with originals. The officer will retain Registration Details and set of self attested documents, and issue the Registration Slip (as shown in Fig. 3.6) with signature and seal to the Candidate. After successful completion of registration process, provisional merit number (rank) will be allotted on a stipulated date. Candidate will be able to obtain provisional merit number (rank) using his user ID on website www.gujacpc.nic.in under Registration Details button or can also view on website www.jacpcldce.ac.in by entering User ID.
