NEW FEATURES/FEATURE ENHANCEMENT NEW INSTALLER The installer has an updated, more streamlined user interface that includes a Documentation tab to be able to download a manual or reference document. MANAGE OPTIONAL FUNCTIONS Users can activate installed optional functions on one or more remote devices by using the Manage optional functions feature. An administrator selects the optional functions and has the 20-digit license key needed for activation. Users can choose a temporary trial version of this feature. 30.09.2014 3 8
MANAGE CERTIFICATES Users can import and delete device certificates and root certificates to one or more devices and can assign device certificates to protocols. Users can install up to five certificates of each type on each device. This feature is only available for administrators. Users can install two types of certificates: Device certificate - A file that provides secure communication via SSL Root certificate - A file that checks whether a received certificate is issued by a trusted certificate authority 30.09.2014 4 8
Users can manage certificates on one device by importing, deleting, viewing or assigning a device certificate to protocols. The Certificates dialog box displays updated certificate status information. ENHANCEMENT OF EXPORTING FEATURE (MULTI-SET) Exporting a Device User List Users can save the user list to the computer or network. Once saved, it can be imported as a.csv or.xml file to the Multi-Set feature. Exporting a Document Box List You can save the document box list to your computer or network. Once saved, it can be imported as a.csv or.xml file to the Multi-Set feature. 30.09.2014 5 8
EXPORTING DEVICE ACCOUNTING INFORMATION TO A FILE Users can now export device accounting properties information in the Device Accounts dialog box. ACCOUNTING SOURCE SETTINGS IN ACCOUNTING MULTI-SET Users can select different ways to create settings for the destination device. Users can copy source device settings over destination device settings. Users can keep or reset the current destination device settings. New Behavior PRINTER SETTINGS CONFIGURATION Users can change configuration settings for a driver or drivers and export to save them to a.kvp file. REPORT E-MAIL SETTINGS Users can set up email notifications for events (including Add paper, Add toner, and Cover open) and for scheduled reports (for example, set the report for a weekly interval, day of the week and time). Users can generate up to three report e-mail notification settings. TIME SETTINGS Users can set up time settings on the device, including the date, time zone, Summer time or daylight savings time and the time sever. 30.09.2014 7 8
