! UEFA EURO 2012 STADIUM UEFA EURO 2012 finals in Poland and Ukraine will take place from 8 June to 1 July 2012. Thirtyone matches will be played in the fight for the European Champion title. They will take place in eight stadiums, four in Poland and four in Ukraine. All meetings will be broadcasted live to more than 200 countries. ! FAN ZONE Even if you do not have a ticket for a match you will not miss out on sport emotions! The official Fan Zone was prepared for those who want to taste the atmosphere of the UEFA EURO 2012 in Gdańsk and share it with thousands of other fans. Here, on a huge outdoor screen, you will be able to see the matches of your favourite team, listen to music, meet stars, dine at various catering venues and check your sport skills. The official Fan Zone is located in the direct vicinity of the city centre, at Plac Zebrań Ludowych. Easy access from the main train station (approx. 500m), picturesque location between the forest and historic areas of the Gdańsk Shipyard, sport and cultural offer and numerous attractions create the unique atmosphere of this place. Fan Zone will be open from 7 June to 1 July 2012, admission free (apart from selected events with tickets). WHERE TO FIND INFORMATION? FAN EMBASSIES Stationary Fan Embassy is a basic contact facility for foreign fans situated at Targ Węglowy by Złota Brama. You will be able to contact it for 24 hours via a special alarm phone number (number will be revealed to the fans and tourists a few days before the championships). Its staff will provide information in Polish and English. The Stationary Fan Embassy will be run by local staff with access to all the necessary information, familiar with the infrastructure and attractions of the city as well as the needs of fans. Mobile Fan Embassies are mobile patrols that will always be close to the fans of their teams. They will be composed of fans of various nationalities representing one of the teams playing on Polish stadiums. All of them will be positioned in various parts of the city in places of the most intensive fan movement, answering all questions in English and their national language. VOLUNTEERS Volunteers will be on duty in a several dozens of key points in the city, such as the airport, stations, stationary and mobile information points, Fan Embassy, Fan Zone, police stations and hospitals. All volunteers in public urban spaces will have a stand out outfit with the inscription VOLUNTEER on their backs. URBAN TRAIN In the Tricity (Gdańsk, Sopot, Gdynia) and surrounding towns there is a Fast Urban Train system (SKM), which connects Gdańsk, Sopot, Gdynia, Rumia, Reda, Wejherowo, Lębork, Tczew and Słupsk.
