Rather than make a large up-front payment every 10 weeks, the Direct Debit option enables parents to spread the cost of lessons. Up to 10% discount applies to all customers joining swimming lessons with Direct Debit. The smaller monthly payment makes the costs more manageable. There is no minimum term contract all we ask is for one month s notice if you decide to leave the programme. Is Free Swimming Included? The direct debit option provides additional benefits such as unlimited access to public and family swim sessions for the enrolled pupil (all under 8 s must be accompanied by a responsible adult). Do I Get Free ASA s? Direct Debit customers will be provided with a Welcome Pack to introduce you and your child to the programme which includes a swim bag, a certificate folder, and a free Liberty Leisure Card. ASA Stage awards are also included free of charge.

What is Continuous Assessment? We recognise that children progress at their own pace. Our programme allows children to be continuously assessed each week by the Swimming Teachers rather than at set times throughout the year. This enables children to move through the award scheme according to their ability, progress faster and achieve more awards. Children may need to change days throughout the programme depending upon the availability of the lessons they require when moving to the next stage. Once a child has completed the Stage criteria they can move to the next class via a parent s home portal. Home Portal - What Is It? Liberty Swim School allows each parent to log on to a home portal and view the progress of their child. It also allows the parent to choose the day and time for their child s next lesson when it is time for them to progress to the next stage. How Do I Move Class? Once on the swimming lesson programme, there will be no need to re-book your child s place via Reception as you can manage this via the home portal. You will receive an email informing you when your child has successfully completed each Stage. How Long Is The Programme? There are no set enrolment periods for customers on the Direct Debit scheme. The Liberty Swim School programme operates throughout term time and school holidays. The programme provides all children with a minimum of 45 lessons per year (subject to lesson cancellations / pool closure) and has a scheduled break for two weeks per year at the Christmas holidays. Bank Holidays have been removed from the price in advance which is more flexible and fairer for children who may have to change their day during the year when the child moves stages. What is the Lesson Length? All lessons for children up to Stage 7 are 30 minutes (including registration). Stage 8 and above, and adult lessons are for 45 minutes duration to help you build your aquatic skills. What if I Want To Cancel A Session? Lessons are non-refundable. Should you wish to suspend your child s swimming lessons at any stage this can be accommodated. However this will mean that your child leaves the swim lesson programme and is held on the waiting list, to re-join at a later date when they are ready to re-commence. Please note that we cannot hold onto a space within their class nor guarantee a place for them when they are ready to re-join. What If I Choose Not To Pay By Direct Debit? There are options to pay for a 10, 15 or 20 week block of swimming lessons and payment for subsequent blocks must be made at Reception before your current credit runs out. Please note that if you miss your payment date it would be classed as non-payment and result in your child being automatically removed from the Liberty Swim School. What If My Child Wants To Swim More Than Once Per Week? Provided a space is available you can enrol your child on additional lesson throughout the week. Please contact reception for further information. Talent Identifcation The Liberty Swim School talent identification programme is planned and delivered in partnership with local swimming clubs. The strategic goals of the programme are to support and enhance the aquatic talent pool available, providing all athletes identified with the opportunity to progress to the chosen Aquatic discipline. This system will help to develop the quality of athletes for the future, and seek to identify individuals with the potential to achieve success in their chosen sport.
