Promotional Opportunities-Rural and Remote Teachers are provided with more opportunities earlier. Applicant pools for promotional positions are not as large. Earlier and more frequent opportunities for relieving at a higher level. Aspiring leaders programs.

Transfer Opportunities Ensures quality teachers for all state school sites A fair, equitable and transparent process that allows teachers to move throughout the State to fulfil their professional and personal goals. Each site has a Transfer Rating (TR) for example Brisbane State High School TR1 Moranbah State School TR4 Tagai State College TR7A Permanent teachers accrue transfer points annually Minimum service periods apply
