What s H-Block? H-Block is: patented, box shaped structural insulated panel made of polyurethane foam permanently combined with wood-based OSB panel, both load-bearing and insulating material, construction material to build load-bearing walls, ceilings, floors and roofs, construction material dedicated to the creation of energy efficient and passive houses
Closed-cell polyurethane foam core integrated with I-beam construction and OSB, provide H-Block with unique: Mechanical properties - bearing capacity of external walls up to 4 floors, reduced roof structure or roofs without roof structure, Thermic properties - heat transfer coefficient U of H-Block from 0,21 to 0,12 [W/m2K] (depending on the type of panel). Total thickness of H-Block 130 mm 170 mm 210 mm Thickness of the PUR core 100 mm 140 mm 180 mm Heat transfer coefficient U U=0,21 [W/m 2 K] U=0,15 [W/m 2 K] U=0,12 [W/m 2 K]
H-BLOCK H-Block is a structural insulated panel dedicated to construct load-bearing walls, ceilings, floors and roofs that require reduced amount of roof-structure. Structure: The H-Block panel is 125 cm or 0,623 cm wide and maximum 1250 cm long. Two OSB webs are built-in panel 4-6 cm far from its edge. Space between the webs is tightly filled with PUR polyurethane foam. Wall panels are joined with LHB joints that are also filled with polyurethane foam. Therefore thermal bridges effect is reduced to the minimum, creating a well-insulated, single wall, ceiling, floor or roof surface.

H-Block plus H-Block plus is the first insulated panel, the mechanical strength of which has been additionally improved. H-Block plus is dedicated to construct floors, ceilings and roofs. Structure: The H-Block plus panel is 125 cm wide and maximum 1250 cm long. Two plywood webs are built-in panel 31 cm far from its edge. Space between the webs is tightly filled with PUR polyurethane foam. Panels are joined with LHB plus joints that are also filled with polyurethane foam. Therefore thermal bridges effect is reduced to minimum, creating a well-insulated floor, ceiling or roof surface. Due to improved mechanical properties of H-Block plus reduction of traditional construction elements is possible (roof structure, ceiling joist).

Properties of structural insulated panel H-Block
Properties of polyurethane Closed-cell polyurethane foam is an insulating material with the highest thermal resistance among commercially available insulating materials. Unlike polystyrene (EPS), polyurethane is resistant to most common chemicals, insects, rodents, and does not melt up to 230 C. 0,05 0,04 Heat transfer coefficient λ [W/(m K)] of various insulating materials Unlike mineral wool, polyurethane is resistant 0,03 to moisture and does not degrade in contact with water vapor. It does not loose heat resistance and is resistant to microbial 0,02 0,01 development 0 Polyurethane (PUR) Polystyrene (EPS) Mineral Wool (MW)
Durability and resistance Increased mechanical strength of H- Block is provided with its structure which resembles multiplied beam, used in bridge structures. Closed-cell polyurethane is resistant to: most organic solvents, acids and bases, insects, rodents, fungi and molds, water, temperature to 230 C Closed-cell polyurethane: does not change its insulating properties over time, it is not subjected to waterlogging at high temperatures occurring periodically on the roof does not age does not absorb moisture.
Fast and simple installation regardless of the season and the weather The fact that H-Block panels are manufactured in the production hall provides them with high quality and enables construction of a house regardless of the weather. Fast installation of prefabricated elements enables construction of a house in only few days regardless of the season and the weather.
Roofing and elevation flexibility
More habitable roof space H-Block as load-bearing and insulating material at the same time provides the thickness of walls and roofs nearly twice as thin as in traditional buildings. More habitable roof space
Financial advantages and comfort Financial advantages and time savings Closed-cell polyurethane foam, provides the highest resistance to heat transfer and air penetration, therefore reduces the cost of heating and airconditioning of the house. Reduced construction time enables savings resulting from lower installation costs. Thermal comfort Thermal control inside the building is fast and easy because of very good insulation properties of houses constructed in H-Block system.
