FISH FOOD Whilst fish should be maintained on their pellet or flake food for the bulk of their lives, a week on an alternative diet should do them no harm. Frozen cubes of bloodworm, cockle, mussel, lancefish, brineshrimp etc may be purchased from aquarium fish shops. These should be free of grain derivatives, provided they are not vitamin enriched.
