China Southern Airlines has launched new services: KIX = Guilin = Nanning May 30, 2015 China Southern Airlines (CZ) has launched new services KIX = Guilin = Nanning from May 16 (Sat), 2015. Guilin is situated in the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region in the southwest of China and is a world renowned tourist place because of its beautiful landscape which reminds us of Chinese-style landscape painting. Nanning which is the final destination of this route is the capital city of the Autonomous Region where Zhuang people account for the majority of the population. Air China inaugurates new services to Hangzhou Air China will inaugurate the route KIX = Hangzhou from July 1 (Wed), 2015. Shenzhen Airlines inaugurates new services to Beijing Shenzhen Airlines will inaugurate the route KIX = Beijing from July 1 (Wed), 2015. These services can be used in combination with the KIX=Beijing service operated by its parent company China Air, and the travel to and from Beijing is now more readily available. Tianjin Airlines inaugurates flights from Kansai International airport Tianjin Airlines has inaugurated 2 flights a week from KIX to Tianjin and Xi an respectively from May 15 (Fri), 2015. In addition, the route KIX = Tianjin is planned to be increased to five flights per week as from June 18 (Thu). In 2009, the company started operations with its home base in Tianjin as an airline company of the Hainan group, China and operates flights in the Southeast Asia and Japan as a full service carrier. LCC Scoot launches new services on medium and long-haul routes! Airline will fly to 3 cities in Asia from KIX with the newest Boeing 787-9 We are pleased to announce that Scoot (TZ), a Singapore-based low-cost long-haul LCC airline, will launch new services in the KIX = Bangkok (Don Mueang) = Singapore route from July 8 (Wed), 2015, and in the KIX =Kaohsiung = Singapore route from July 9 (Thu), 2015. New installation of "KIX-Medipac," a facility compliant with export packing of pharmaceuticals - First facility for the packing of pharmaceuticals in Japanese airports - Kansai International Airport has been promoting the export and import of pharmaceuticals taking advantage of its strategic position in coordination with local governments and the business community. Now, a facility specialized in the export packing of pharmaceutical products (called KIX-Medipac ) has been developed in the international cargo area of the airport. This is the first time that a facility capable of providing export packing and storage of pharmaceutical products in one building has been developed in a Japanese airport. Kansai International Airport has been engaged in the creation of a cool chain connecting the whole of the airport including the constant temperature warehouse for pharmaceuticals (KIX-Medica) and the operation of storage dolly among others. With the completion of the development of KIX-Medipac, it has now become possible to provide a safe and secure transportation of pharmaceutical products to the destination by providing the export packaging. We will continue to provide high convenience and quality to all those who handle pharmaceutical products in the Kansai area and in the western part of Japan. Name of Facility: KIX-Medipac Overview of Facility: Constant temperature warehouse with an area of about 150m 2 which is kept in the two temperature zones of 20 C (about 50 to 100m 2 ) and 5 C (about 50 to 100m 2 ), which is installed in the Building A with an area of about 1,450m 2 (including the area under the eaves) in the International Cargo Area Characteristics of Facility: Installed a variety of packing facilities and an constant temperature warehouse with an area of about 150m 2 in one building. Simulation of external environment such as an outside temperature at the time of export in order to individually pack pharmaceuticals of small to medium lots to be exported from Japan requiring temperature control and the use of specially prepared packing materials, refrigerants, heat storage agents and the like within the constant temperature warehouse allow risks such as temperature deviation, etc. to be eliminated and the products to be transported safely to the destination. Tigerair Taiwan inaugurates flights from KIX! Tigerair Taiwan will inaugurate a daily flight between KIX and Taipei from July 3 (Fri), 2015. Tigerair Taiwan is a low cost carrier (LCC) established in April of 2014 in Taiwan and this is the first LCC from Taiwan that operates to and from KIX.
