S3700 Preset Configuration for DN-S3700 Ensure that both Denon DN-S3700 controllers are powered on and connected via USB to your computer (PC/MAC) On the 1 st DN-S3700 (or Left Deck), initiate the preset mode by holding the preset button down for 2 seconds, then turn the parameter knob to MIDI CH SET, push down on the parameter knob and select 1 (it should already be set there by default) Push down on the parameter knob again for next step. (Left Deck) Turn the parameter knob UNIT NO SET, push down on the parameter knob and select 1, then press the CUE button to exit and save. (Left Deck) On the 2 nd DN-S3700 (or Right Deck), initiate the preset mode by holding the preset button down for 2 seconds, then turn the parameter knob to MIDI CH SET, push down on the parameter knob and select 2. Push down on the parameter knob again for next step (Right Deck) Turn the parameter knob UNIT NO SET, push down on the parameter knob and select 2, then press the CUE button to exit and save. PC Two Player Configuration of Traktor Pro PC for Denon DN-S3700 Introduction This document is meant as a quick step guide to configure the Denon DN-S3700 controller work together with Traktor Pro. on a PC 1. PC After downloading the software, unzip the setup file and double click it to install Traktor Pro. Start Traktor Pro after the installation is completed. Run the application in the Demo mode. In that mode Traktor Pro offers to you the same functional range as a registered version. The one difference is that this application closes automatically after 30 minutes. So you need to restart it again. 3. Configuration of Traktor Pro This chapter shows you how to configure your version of Traktor Pro for direct compatibility with the Denon DN-S3700 controller. - Be sure that the DN-S3700 is still connected to your computer via a USB port. (How to connect the device with other hardware like PC / Mixer can be found inside the DN-S3700 manual) - Users of Windows XP/Vista should also ensure that the most recent version of the DN-S3700 device driver is installed on their system. - Save the attached DN-S3700.tsi file to your hard drive. - Start Traktor Pro and select Preferences 4
PC 2.1 Preferences Inside preferences you can do all configurations to let the DN-S3700 controller work with Traktor Pro. a) Expand the Audio Setup and choose Soundcard b) If not already done choose the Denon DJ ASIO Driver 5
PC c) Open the DN-S3700 control panel d) Check if your standard settings set and close this panel by clicking OK. 6
PC e) Choose Output Routing and change the Mixer Mode to external. Set the correct outputs to Traktors Out Channels. f) Return to preferences and expand the Hotkey & MIDI Setup menu. g) Select USB Audio Device as the midi device. If not already activated, double click the USB Audio Device entry to activate it. 7
PC h) Return to the preferences menu and select "MIDI Setup". Click on Load to open a browser window and select the DN-S3700.tsi you have stored on your hard drive. 8

4. Configuration of DN-S3700 with MAC Audio/MIDI Setup - On the MAC, go to Applications > Utilities > Audio MIDI Setup - At the top Menu bar select Audio > Open Aggregate Device Editor 11
- Click on the + symbol to add a new aggregate device - You will now see the option to select the 2 DN-S3700 units. 12
- Select both DN-S3700 units by putting check marks in the Use column, then press Done. - You can now exit out of Audio MIDI Setup. 13
