BIEDRONKI (LADYBIRDS) In March in our kindergarten appeared new group Ladybirds. There are the youngest children who begin learning English. In March we started to accustom children to this language. Teacher came with Cookie puppet and said HELLO to each child. At the beginning children were self-conscious and ashamed, but step by step they accepted new friend Cookie Our first song which children were singing was: Hello song Hello, hello boys and girls (x3) Hello, hello, hello! It s English time Stand up, stretch and skip with me! Skip. Skip, skip to the tree (x3) Skip to the tree and sing with me! When we ended our English time we said to Cookie BYE BYE and were singing Bye, bye song Bye, bye boys and girls (x3) Bye, bye boys and girls! Next we learned about first words in English. The topic was: ANIMALS Children met such animals like: turtle, rabbit, spider, duck

Our games consisted of TPR actions: stand up, skip, jump, clap your hands, close your eyes, open your eyes. Children also had lot of fun when we changed into animals that we knows. We imitated their moves and sounds. Children also tried to colour their favourite animal. Next topic was SPRING. Children get to know what was the spring signs. We met such words as: flower, butterfly, sun, rain. Children also met new color: GREEN We were singing Spring song To the spring dance (x2) The wood is green, the birds sing tweet Time to do the spring dance: Clap your hands and turn around, Stamp your feet and touch the ground In the end of month we started the topic: COLOURS Children met such colours as: red, pink, yellow, purple, green, blue

Children were singing Colour song : Red, pink, yellow, purple, green or blue, Red, pink, yellow, purple, green or blue What's your favourite colour? Please tell me, do! Is it red, pink, yellow, purple, green, or blue? SMERFY (SMURFS) In March Smurfs continued English education with series Cookie and Friends. Our new vocabulary was ANIMALS Children met such animals like: turtle, rabbit, spider, duck. We also get to know new Animals song : I m a little rabbit Hop, hop, hop I m a little rabbit Hop, hop, hop I m a little rabbit (x3) Hop, hop, hop I m a little turtle Splash, splash, splash I m a little turtle Splash, splash, splash I m a little turtle (x3) Splash, splash, splash

I m a little duck Kwak, kwak, kwak I m a little duck Kwak, kwak, kwak I m a little duck (x3) Kwak, kwak, kwak During our meeting with animals children imitated animals sounds, listened Cookie s story with its animals friends and played in many games which developed their manual and mental skills. At the end children had to choose one favourite animal by using the phrase: I LIKE (rabbit) Next topic was SPRING. Children get to know what was the spring signs. We met such words as: flower, butterfly, sun, rain, ladybird, umbrella, boots, rainbow, frog, bird. We were singing Spring song To the spring dance (x2) The wood is green, the birds sing tweet Time to do the spring dance: Clap your hands and turn around,

Stamp your feet and touch the ground To summarize our SPRING topic children prepared the picture with spring meadow. There was: butterfly, flowers, frog and bird. The task was quite difficult because children had to cut out the pieces of picture and stick in appropriate place on the sheet, but everyone did this well At the end of month we started new topic: PARTS OF BODY. Children met such words as: tommy, fingers, hand, head, feet MISIE (TEDDIES) In March Teddies began the topic: FAMILY. We met such members of the family like: mummy, daddy, brother, sister, baby. Children learnt about family with very nice Family Owl Teddies were singing with pleasure Family song : One little owl sitting in the tree Here comes brother, how many can you see? One, two Two little owls sitting in the tree Here comes daddy, how many can you see? One, two, three

Three little owls sitting in the tree Here comes sister, how many can you see? One, two, three, four Four little owls sitting in the tree Here comes mother, how many can you see? One, two, three, four, five! Children met the story with Family Owl and they had to try tell its in their own words. When we continued this topic children practiced many exercises in workbook, with developed their manual and mental skills. Teddies for example get to know how to write numbers from 1 to 6. To summarize the FAMILY chapter we created puppets family owl. Children coloured, cut out and stick each owl figure. Next topic was SPRING. Children get to know what was the spring signs. We met such words as: flower, butterfly, sun, rain, ladybird, umbrella, boots, rainbow, frog, bird, bee, bugs. To help children remember spring vocabulary we played with picture cards in game named BINGO.

DELFINY (DOLPHINS) In March Dolphins realized three topics: MY HOUSE, SPRING, ON THE FARM Topic MY HOUSE was connected with such vocabulary as: hair, table, sofa, bed, cupboard, wardrobe, bath, towel, living room, bathroom, bedroom, kitchen. During classes we played with picture cards and practiced in workbook. At the end of this theme children created big house with rooms and furniture.

Next topic was SPRING. Children get to know what was the spring signs. We met such words as: flower, butterfly, sun, rain, ladybird, umbrella, boots, rainbow, frog, bird, bee, bugs. To help children remember spring vocabulary we played with picture cards in game named BINGO. We were singing Spring song To the spring dance (x2)

Dolphins met such domestic animals as: horse, cow, cat, dog, sheep, rabbit, duck.
