8 / 9 concept, costs In general the 3-dimensional shape of the UNESCO appearance is based on the 2-dimensional shape of the UNESCO logo! It shall create the environment of a romanesque PLAZA situation where people can come together, have a rest, communicate, get information... The steps of the temple are ment for the opportunity to take a seat and take a break in a busy tradefair environment; once you have climbed up the stairs you will fi nd the point of information where you can get in touch if you wish, as well as being served from the hospitality facilities or to have an indepth conversation in the more quiet surrounding of the conference room. In addition to that the upper level provides more meeting places, stand-up coffeetables with barstools for detailed but shorter conversations; as well as the points of presentation for pc-equipment at the best accessible outsides of the stand... - furthermore the rest of the space is to be used for positioning the sources for information material... - also the entire upper level can be a performing and showcasing stage to all 4 sides... the kitchen/storage and the conference room are grouped underneath the roof of the temple, which gives them the shelter from above - this roof is lying on two sidewalls, which also work as a shelter to these two opposite sides of the stand - and more than that these walls also contain the projection screen towards the outside for fi lm-material to be shown... these projections come from within the two rooms, and -according to the projectors- they can be switched from back-projection to front-projection to be seen either from the inside or from the outside... In opposite to the natural appearance of a temple, the materials used to design + build the stand are everything else than massive and heavy... - the walls and the roof are made of a white textile covering on framework, which shall be intensively lit from the inside to become an entirely glowing object... - according to that also the fl ooring material is lightcoloured... Our design proposal as it is shows of course the most comfortable of all cases, a freestanding version / 10 by 10 meters, with a luxurious height - but also for a differently shaped space as well as for a location at a corner or in a row, and for height limitations; all elements within our design can easily be transferred and adapted to changing circumstances...!
