This eleven day cruise will begin on 3 August 2018, in Porto, Portugal, cruise along the breathtaking Douro River to Vega de Terron and return to Porto on 13 August 2018. It is the only Scenic ship to sail the Douro and provide an 11-day cruise. To ensure the Foundation receives the total donation potential for a fully booked ship, a single traveler will be charged the additional $200 donation. Two cabins will be held for single travelers until 30 January 2017. After that date, if the cabins are not booked by single travelers, reservations 2
will be open to double occupancy travelers. All other cabins have a single supplement of 200%. LISBON PRE-CRUISE OPTION Scenic is offering a three night pre-cruise Lisbon package. Minimum number of passengers for the package to be offered is 16 with a maximum of 96 passengers. Cost is $995 per person based on double occupancy. A deposit of $125 per person for the pre-cruise Lisbon package is required at booking. RESERVATIONS The bookings for this cruise will be on a first-come, first-served basis. The cruise is open to all U.S. Navy Supply Corps Foundation members and their family and friends. Reservations with a 20% deposit will open at 0900 PST (1200 EST) on Tuesday, 17 January 2017. An acknowledgement of the donation will be provided by the Foundation for tax purposes. REFUNDS OR CANCELLATIONS/TRAVEL INSURANCE All payments made including the deposit are NON REFUNDABLE. The Foundation and Scenic will not be able to provide refunds for any reason. Since refunds are not possible, the purchase of travel insurance is highly recommended. 3
MEDICAL, MOBILITY AND OTHER HEALTH ISSUES All medical, mobility concerns, allergies and health issues must be noted in the booking record at the time of booking. Forms are required to be completed prior to final payment for those guests with mobility issues, health concerns, sleep apnea or oxygen machines. Tours included in the cruise itinerary are usually walking tours or coach tours with a fair amount of walking. For safety and enjoyment, guests should be in good physical condition, able to walk easily over cobblestone streets and up and down stairs. Scenic cannot accommodate completely wheelchair bound guests. PASSPORTS AND VISAS All guests must have a valid passport with at least six months validity from return date. Meeting the passport and visa entry requirements and costs are the sole responsibility of each guest. 4
