Program Normal Pressure Hydrocephalus (NPH) a comprehensive course on pathophysiology, diagnostics, therapy and clinical outcome 19-20 September 2016 Berlin Germany
Preface Dear colleagues On behalf of the course directors, the faculty and the Aesculap Academy, I would like to invite you to come to Berlin to participate in our unique course about Normal Pressure Hydrocephalus (NPH). During the last 15 years NPH has become a much better recognized and understood clinical condition. The number of diagnosed patients is rapidly growing, establishing the demand for clinical standards in patient care and follow up. We would like to share our experience in regard to diagnosis and management with you, discuss cases and patient examples. We will also demonstrate the placement of a gravitational shunt in a live surgery. We will provide special insight into our daily hydrocephalus practice to avoid complications and provide information about the best follow up routine. The course is designed for general neurosurgeons taking care of the growing number of patients with NPH but also for the experienced hydrocephalus specialist who wants to gain advanced knowledge and discuss sophisticated hydrocephalus issues. We look forward to seeing you at this exciting course program in Berlin. Best regards and a warm welcome Michael Fritsch
