1 Overview 1.1 PMS Introduction PMS s full name : Professional Monitoring System. PMS is a small batch for managing security monitoring equipment management software. PMS released together with equipment, do not support other vendors devices. PMS can batch view multiple devices in real time surveillance video camera. PMS can view multiple devices record video. PMS can configure many timing arming to achieve computer on duty. PMS can configure map and clearly describe the location of each device. PMS can only run once at the same time. 1.2 System Requirements Supported Operating Systems Windows XP And Advanced Framework Requirement.NET Framework 4.0 CPU More Than 2.4GHz Graphics Graphic Card And Support DirectX 8.0c And Advanced Memory More Than 1GB Monitor More Than 1024X768 Resolution 3
2 Installation, Uninstall And Update 2.1 Software Installation 1) Confirm the CD-ROM directory contains the following files : DotNetFX40Client, WindowsInstaller4_5, setup.exe, Setup.msi and run setup.exe to install. If your system is not installed. NET Framework 4.0, the installer will prompt you to install. You will see the installation screen, click Next : 4
2)Click Browser to select installation directory, click Next : 5

5)Click Close to complete installation: 2.2 Software Uninstall Method 1: Start Menu->All Programs->CMS->PMS->Uninstall Method 2: Control Panel -> Uninstaller, select PMS and click Uninstall Method 3: Run setup.exe, into the repair/uninstall interface, select Delete and click Finish : 8

3. Operating Instructions 3.1 System Login Double-click the desktop icon or click Start -> All Programs ->CMS->PMS->PMS, login window appears, click Login : 10
The default user is super user: admin when first login. 3.3 Software Functions 3.3.1 User Management Only the super user has permissions for user management. Each user has a separate configuration information. You can customize schedule template, Empty Template and All Day Template are default templates, you can t edit them When a channel alarms, system will filter by Alarm arm enable, Alarm Type Arming, Channel Arming and Time Arming, if the alarm channel corresponding any arming close, system will not receive the alarm 41
3.3.8.1.3 Activation Strategy When a channel alarms, if the channel corresponding activation strategy has been set, the alarm will activate the behavior set Every channel has a logo in front of itself, which means whether the channel s activation strategy has been set, default value is not se Every channel can own many activation action, there are two kinds of activation action, one is record, another is play 42
Alarm Type is the type of alarm which activates the action Device and Channel is the channel which is activated 43
Stay time is the time of recording or playing Preset Point is the preset point which lets PTZ goes to when activating Window is the position which play in when activating 3.3.8.2 Alarm Trigger System will pop a tips window when alarm triggers, click it to open Alarm Log window If activation action s behavior type is play, system will pop Alarm Video window 44
