1 Overview 1.1 PMS Introduction PMS s full name : Professional Monitoring System. PMS is a small batch for managing security monitoring equipment management software. PMS released together with equipment, do not support other vendors devices. PMS can batch view multiple devices in real time surveillance video camera. PMS can view multiple devices record video. PMS can configure many timing arming to achieve computer on duty. PMS can configure map and clearly describe the location of each device. PMS can only run once at the same time. 1.2 System Requirements Supported Operating Systems Windows XP And Advanced Framework Requirement.NET Framework 4.0 CPU More Than 2.4GHz Graphics Graphic Card And Support DirectX 8.0c And Advanced Memory More Than 1GB Monitor More Than 1024X768 Resolution 3

2 Installation, Uninstall And Update 2.1 Software Installation 1) Confirm the CD-ROM directory contains the following files : DotNetFX40Client, WindowsInstaller4_5, setup.exe, Setup.msi and run setup.exe to install. If your system is not installed. NET Framework 4.0, the installer will prompt you to install. You will see the installation screen, click Next : 4

5)Click Close to complete installation: 2.2 Software Uninstall Method 1: Start Menu->All Programs->CMS->PMS->Uninstall Method 2: Control Panel -> Uninstaller, select PMS and click Uninstall Method 3: Run setup.exe, into the repair/uninstall interface, select Delete and click Finish : 8

2.3 Software Update Run setup.exe, select Repair and click Finish : 9

3. Operating Instructions 3.1 System Login Double-click the desktop icon or click Start -> All Programs ->CMS->PMS->PMS, login window appears, click Login : 10

The default user is super user: admin when first login. 3.3 Software Functions 3.3.1 User Management Only the super user has permissions for user management. Each user has a separate configuration information. Through the following methods to enter: Click Add, fill in the user data, select permissions, click Save to finish add user, or click Cancel to cancel add user: 13

Select a user and click Update to modify user s information. At this point the password is not displayed, you can input new password and password confirmation to change password, click Save to finish update Select a user and click Delete to delete user 3.3.2 Device Management Through the following methods to enter: 16

Multi-channel only support to query by time Select start time and end time Select query mode, you can get many eligible records in by file mode; you can get only one eligible records in by time mode If by file mode was selected, you can select file type Click Search, results will appear in Result 3.3.6.1.2 Play You can select record which needed to play and then click Play ; or double-click any record to play Play operation is same to Play Operation You can control play progress by play control bar 29

3.3.7.3 Auto Tour You can set many cruise lines, every cruise line cruises as own preset point option Select cruise line, click Setup to configure its cruise point or click Run to start cruising In Setup, click mouse right button to open menu, you can add cruise point or clear Edit preset point and duration 35

In Set Arming According To Time, every channel has a logo which means arming state in front of itself, default template is all day Arming Program shows arming overview map, yellow area means arming open, white area means arming close Select schedule template and click load button to load to some days 40

You can customize schedule template, Empty Template and All Day Template are default templates, you can t edit them When a channel alarms, system will filter by Alarm arm enable, Alarm Type Arming, Channel Arming and Time Arming, if the alarm channel corresponding any arming close, system will not receive the alarm 41

3.3.8.1.3 Activation Strategy When a channel alarms, if the channel corresponding activation strategy has been set, the alarm will activate the behavior set Every channel has a logo in front of itself, which means whether the channel s activation strategy has been set, default value is not se Every channel can own many activation action, there are two kinds of activation action, one is record, another is play 42

Alarm Type is the type of alarm which activates the action Device and Channel is the channel which is activated 43

Stay time is the time of recording or playing Preset Point is the preset point which lets PTZ goes to when activating Window is the position which play in when activating 3.3.8.2 Alarm Trigger System will pop a tips window when alarm triggers, click it to open Alarm Log window If activation action s behavior type is play, system will pop Alarm Video window 44

Video Packing Time means the time of packing when recording Every channel has a logo in front of itself, which means whether the channel s record plan has been set, default template is empty Record Program shows recording overview map, yellow area means recording, white area means not recording Select schedule template and click load button to load to some days 47

You can choose which monitor task to be enabled or which monitor project to be enabled After enable, you will view channel in main video player window Click Pause to pause schedule task or click Recovery to continue schedule task Click again the enabled task or project to stop it 53

3.3.11 Log Search Through the following methods to enter: Select user and date and click log type to show logs in table Click Export to export logs as excel 54

In the beginning, you can drag a picture to the background to produce a basic map. After added basic map, you can drag picture, channel or alarm input to map 60
