SmartEagle mobile app Installation on Android The SmartEagle mobile app is compatible with all HNR Series DVRs. Note: You should always install the most recent version of firmware available for your DVR. Check the Hunt Electronics Website at http://www.huntcctv.com/update-hvr.asp for the latest firmware upgrades. Minimum Requirements for the SmartEagle The SmartEagle mobile app minimum requirements are: Supported Android models: - Android 2.3 Gingerbread or newer Supported HUNT DVRs: all HNR DVRs Internet connection to the HNR DVR.
Installing the SmartEagle mobile app on Android To install the SmartEagle mobile app: 1. From your Android Device, tap the Play Store icon. 2. Tap Search, and then type SmartEagle in the Search field. 3. Tap on SmartEagle below Apps
5. Tap INSTALL. 6. Tap on accept to accept App permissions. 7. Wait for SmartEagle to download and install itself 8. When the application is successfully installed, the SmartEagle icon appears on the device and in your apps menu.
Adding a DVR to the SmartEagle mobile app To add and register an HNR DVR: 1. Launch the SmartEagle mobile app. Then, tap on Registration on the Site List screen.
2. In the Setup screen, type a unique name to identify the DVR in the Site Name. 3. In the appropriate fields, type the IP Address, Port number, User ID and User Password of the HNR DVR (see step 4 in HNR DVR Network Configuration). The HUNT HNR default username and password are admin and 1234, respectively. NOTE: If the defaults are changed, the ID and password are case sensitive. 4. Tap to save The DVR will appear and in the list of servers.
Live Video Viewing The SmartEagle mobile viewing app features Live View: single camera or multiple (16) camera views. Tap on SmartEagle on your Android mobile device to access SmartEagle. Note The HNR DVR video quality setting might need to be adjusted to optimize video performance for using the SmartEagle app. changing the video quality settings might affect the duration of saved video. See the HNR User Guide RECORD SETUP section for details. To view live video: 1. With the HNR DVR connected to the network and the SmartEagle mobile app launched, tap the name of the HNR DVR to which you want to connect from the list of DVRs in the Site List screen, and then tap on the Live screen. 2. After connecting to the DVR (which may take a few seconds), the SmartEagle Live View screen displays. SmartEagle mobile app for Remote Access to HNR DVRs 3. To view the remaining channels, tap on the or buttons to see video from the desired channel.
4. To see the Quad screen view, tap on the Division button. You can also select between which Group of 4 Channels to view by tapping on the 1-4, 5-8, 9-12 or 13-16 buttons. 5. To change to the 4, 9 or 16 grid views, tap on the Division button until the desired grid appears on the screen. Note: the 16 channel grid displays all 16 channels. 6. Tap on the Disconnect Icon to disconnect the SmartEagle mobile app from the HNR DVR. You will be returned to the list of available HNR DVRs.
