But we have plenty of functions coming up to take our minds off of the chill. December 9th has the Peter Mayer Stars and Promises Tour at the Barry Robinson Theater of Fine Arts. This venue is located in the Bishop Sullivan Catholic High School in Virginia Beach. Show time is at 8.00pm please arrive in plenty of time to get your seats. See Andy Harrell or Rick Spink for Information. Next up is our club Christmas party, happening Dec 12th which is a Friday, starting at 7.30pm at the AJ Gators Centerville location. We have door prizes and an ugly sweater contest for both male and female. Entertainment will be the DJ from last year, who got most of us up and dancing. See me for details or the flyer in this edition of the Beacon We also have a representative from the USMC here tonight collecting toys for their annual Toys for Tots drive. Please support them as they spread holiday cheer to families who otherwise would not have any. So I will leave you alone now for about four weeks {okay times up}. January is the Club s 19th birthday so we are trying to put a social together for Jan 16th at Cheeseburger in Paradise Virginia Beach, stay tuned for updates. Planting the seed here for the Polar Plunge in February. See Jen Banks, Herbie or Tom Gorman for information on how you can get involved to help the Special Olympics of Virginia. Also in February is the annual Alzheimer s Charity Beach Ball taking place at the 56th Street Wyndham Hotel in Virginia Beach. See Glenn Jenner or Lee Jamerson for information on this great event. So there is plenty happening here in the PHCoT. Please get involved and you never know what opportunity may arise from that. I, along with the rest of the board would like to thank you all for your continued support for the club and want to wish you all a very happy holiday season.
