KATHERINE COWAN MA Coaching and Mentoring Practice I chose Oxford Brookes because I knew it had a good reputation; several coaches with whom I consulted spoke very highly of the Oxford Brookes course. Also, the learning facilities, particularly the library and the virtual learning environment, are excellent and accessible. The quality of the tuition was very high and the approach to delivering the course was engaging, motivating and appropriate to people who are studying and working at the same time. You have a degree of self-direction and autonomy in your learning, but you are also very well supported. As an independent consultant and coach working with individuals and organisations, having a master s degree from Brookes shows clients that I have undertaken a serious level of training. 15
