The new MBA has been developed to meet the needs of today s businesses and anticipate future needs, giving you the relevant skills to make an immediate impact in your workplace. We have developed core activity in internationally recognised, business related research, which underpins curriculum development, teaching and learning, and staff development. Our research^ was recognised as worldleading and of international excellence in the UK Government s Research Assessment Exercise 2008 and we have active research and consultancy links with a range of commercial, industrial and professional organisations. The UWS MBA focuses on developing strategic analytical skills as well as business intuition and enquiring and adaptive thinking. In addition to developing a broad base of management knowledge, you ll also get the chance to specialise in one of three areas finance, leadership, or enterprise. This allows you to align your MBA studies to your current career, or career aspirations. 4 The MBA will be delivered at UWS Hamilton Campus full-time from February 2014 and will also be offered part-time from September It is also available on a distance learning basis. This course is matched to the UK's Quality Assurance Agency (QAA) subject benchmark for Business and Management, as well as to the Association of MBAs (AMBA) and to the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD) European Quality Link (EQUAL) guidelines for MBA courses.

5 Entry Supporting you A Bachelor degree, or a postgraduate award (passed at an appropriate level), or a final qualification of an appropriate professional body. In addition, all applicants must be able to demonstrate a minimum of two years work experience at managerial level in a relevant field of industry, the public sector, teaching or a government establishment. In exceptional circumstances, applicants may also be considered with other academic, vocational or professional qualifications deemed to be equivalent. Scholarships The UWS MBA is offered at 14,500 for full and part-time students studying on campus. For distance learning and off-campus fees check the finance section of our website. 6 Studying in a new country means you need to start over making friends and be aware of cultural differences. UWS Business School made this easy ~ the lecturers have something that I have not found in other universities: a special relationship with the students.
