Nocturne V2 Bed Assembly Instructions (please retain this instruction for future reference) To assemble your bed you have been supplied 2 x 1 ¼ screws and two (large and small) Allen keys. Note that all other brackets and bolts are attached to the bed STEP 1 Attaching Side Rails to Bed Head Remove Bolts from Side Rail Locate Bolts in Holes of Bed Head Support Panel (from Back) Tighten Bolts with Allen Key provided Same Procedure for opposite side STEP 2 Attaching Foot End Rail to Bed Loosen Bolts on Side Rail Capping Turn Brackets towards front of bed Remove Bolts on Foot End Rail Place the Foot End Rail on the Brackets, make sure that the arrows on the round metal cams on the side rail are pointing toward the connection bolts sticking out of the bed foot Push the Side Rail and Foot End Rail together Using the large Allen key tighten the cam by turning clockwise Make sure you square up bed before tightening! Tighten Bracket Bolts (from underneath) with Allen Key provided To install slats follow instructions attached to slat package ensure that you place the slat with hole in either end at the center of your bed. When finished we recommend that you use the 2 x 1 ¼ screws and screw through this slat into the cleats Page 1 of 6
Foundation System - Installation Instruction for King and Queen size beds (please retain this instruction for future reference) To install your Foundation System to your bed you have been supplied with following: 12 x timber slats 1 x red spine (King size bed will have 2 x red spines) 2 x support bars inc. end tabs and bolts for Queen and King size beds 1 x Support leg for Queen size bed (King size bed will have 4 x support leg supplied) 24 x red rubber caps timber slats red spine support bars rubber caps end tabs and bolts support leg Page 2 of 6
Steps: 1. Fit 12 x timber slats to the red spine. After all slats have been fitted, position the red spine in the middle, as per photo below. Ensure that you place slat with hole in either end at the center of your bed. 2. Attach end tab(s) to support bar(s) - ONLY on one end Page 3 of 6
3. To set-up support leg follow these steps (see pictures below) - Screw the rubber foot all the way in to smaller metal tube (picture 1 & 2) - Larger metal tube should be already attached to the plastic T section (Picture 3). There is a rubber grommet on top of this metal tube inside the plastic T section. - Slide smaller tube with the rubber foot all the way into the other tube. (Picture 4). NOTE: you don t need to use bolt for setting height of the support leg for this bed. 1 2 3 4 4. Fit the support bar(s) to the spine. Make sure to attach support leg(s) to the support bar(s) before you slide support bar(s) through red spine. - For the position of the support bars refer to Amendment to instructions for all Silver Lynx Beds. - Install support leg to the support bar that is as central as possible. 5. 6. Position complete foundation system on to your bed. 7. Fine tune support leg so it sits approximately about 5 15 mm of the floor. 8. When finished we recommend that you use the 2 x 1 ¼ screws (supplied) and screw the slat with hole in either end (centre slat) into the cleats. NOTES: Button head bolts should be regularly inspected and may need to be retightened after a period of time.
