2016 Fashion Revue Contestant Packet South Dakota State Fair, 4-H Division Challenge Contest Western Wear Challenge: Construct a western-style shirt or blouse with short or long sleeves. Use of any pattern and any fabric is allowed. Include handmade or purchased garments and items to complete the outfit. The entry must be sewn by the 4-H member as part of the 4-H Clothing project. You can find more information regarding this new category in the 2016 State Fair Book (page 74). County Entry Process The county office will be responsible for mailing copies of the forms and 2 complete scoresheets per Fashion Revue entry to: SDSU Extension 4-H Youth Development Attn: Fashion Revue 826 32nd Ave, Suite 1 Brookings, SD 57006 No paperwork will be accepted the day of the contest. All photos must be submitted in color, not black and white. County Offices - Please use WHITE paper for General Constructed, Sew and Buy and Selected Outfit scoresheet. All other scoresheets should be on LIGHT YELLOW paper. Below include the REQUIRED forms for the different categories. Adjustments to your entries can be made through August 8th with no fee to adjust the entry. No adjustments will be accepted after August 8th. All entry fees must be received by the State 4-H Office by August 15th. Families must register for Fashion Revue on Fair Entry and select a time. Please note that the time selected will be your assigned time. Please don t register more than 1 outfit/entry per time shift. Page 2
