Enabling People Development People development through training is strongly encouraged through various funding schemes by the government. Organisations committed to improving efficiency and cultivating a globally competitive workforce as well as individuals keen to upgrade and strengthen capabilities can take advantage of these funding options to offset the costs of their people development initiatives. As a WDAappointed Continuing Education and Training (CET) Centre for Employability Skills (ES) WSQ and Service Excellence WSQ, trainees benefit from heavily funded training programmes. Additionally, our involvement with agencies like the Employment and Employability Institute (e2i), participation in funding schemes such as the Skills Development Fund (SDF), Absentee Payroll Support, Workfare Training Support (WTS) and the Risk Management Assistance Fund (Workplace Safety and Health) provide added support to our clients in achieving industryspecific staff development goals. 23
