STEP-BY-STEP BYOD ENROLLMENT PROCESS STEP 1: SELECTING YOUR DEVICE OPTION Select the Device Option you desire and click the Get Started button. If you Bring Your Own Device, it must be a CDMA device purchased from the Mobile by Stream Store or a new Sprint iphone purchased from an Apple store. STEP 2: CHECKING YOUR COVERAGE Once you ve clicked Get Started, you ll be asked to enter your zip code. Enter it, then press Go. STEP-BY-STEP ENROLLMENT PROCESS 1
STEP 3: SELECTING YOUR NETWORK Pick the network you wish to enroll on and choose the type of plan you desire, individual or shared, by clicking the Get Started button within the appropriate network. STEP 4: ENTERING YOUR DEVICE MODEL FOR BYOD (GSM ONLY) NOTE: If you re enrolling in CDMA, please skip to step 5. You will be directed to the Bring Your Own Device (GSM) Screen. To ensure your GSM device is compatible, follow these three steps: 1. If your device is not an AT&T device, you will need to ensure it is unlocked. Check with the device carrier to unlock it. 2. AT&T devices do not need to be unlocked. NOTE: If you are keeping your existing number (porting), we have prepared a guide to ensure a seamless move. There is information from your current carrier (like your account number and PIN) that you will need to fill out next. Select the make and model of your device from the drop down list. STEP 5: ENTERING YOUR DEVICE MODEL FOR BYOD (CDMA ONLY) You will be directed to the Bring Your Own Device (CDMA) Screen. To ensure your CDMA device is compatible, it must be a CDMA device purchased from the Mobile by Stream Store or a new Sprint iphone purchased from an Apple store. IMPORTANT NOTE: Temporarily ALL iphone 6 and 6 Plus will need to be activated by calling Customer Support at (877) 743-5893. NOTE: If you are keeping your existing number (porting), we have prepared a guide to ensure a seamless move. There is information from your current carrier (like your account number and PIN) that you will need to fill out next. Select the make and model of your device from the drop down list. STEP-BY-STEP ENROLLMENT PROCESS 3
STEP 6: ENTERING YOUR DEVICE INFO For GSM devices, you ll need to enter your IMEI/ESN number in the next field. For Android devices, you can find your IMEI by dialing *#06#. Enter the first 14 digits displayed on your device, or click on the link provided for directions. For Apple iphones tap Settings > General > About to see your device s serial number, IMEI/MEID, and ICCID. For CDMA devices, you ll now need to enter your MEID/ESN number. If you have an LTE device, you will need to enter your ICCID number as well. Example: iphone 4s and earlier iphones are not LTE devices. The enrollment page will determine which model your phone is and if you need to enter an ICCID number. NOTE: If you re having trouble locating your MEID/ESN or ICCID numbers, please click the blue text above the box and follow the directions STEP 7: CHOOSE WHETHER YOU WANT TO PORT OR GET A NEW NUMBER Choose whether you d like a new number by clicking Assign New Number or keep your current number by clicking Transfer My Number. For GSM devices, we will ship you a new SIM card STEP-BY-STEP ENROLLMENT PROCESS 4
STEP 8: ENTER YOUR CURRENT CARRIER ACCOUNT INFORMATION If you choose to transfer your number, enter the account information from the current carrier into each field. Remember, you need to be the account owner or authorized user to switch the service over. IMPORTANT! Only active numbers can be transferred, so DO NOT cancel your existing service if you wish to port your mobile number. Verify that the information you entered is accurate and complete or this will hold up your process. If you are transferring your number from a prepaid carrier such as MetroPCS, Boost, Cricket, or Virgin Mobile, you will need to ensure an online account is created with your current carrier before requesting service with Stream. Remember to complete the Transferring Your Mobile Service Guide so that your switch to Stream is seamless. STEP 9: ENTER YOUR CURRENT CARRIER ACCOUNT INFORMATION Click on the plan that best fits your needs and then click Continue to Checkout. NOTE: Plans are based on the network you are enrolling services in (GSM or CDMA). REMEMBER! With Mobile Services by Stream, you only pay for what you use. You can adjust your plan to a higher or lower data plan at any time based on your usage needs. STEP-BY-STEP ENROLLMENT PROCESS 5
STEP 10: ENTER YOUR CONTACT INFO Scroll down and fill in your Contact Information. First, type in your name and phone number under the Personal Information section; if you are keeping your existing number, you may want to add an additional number so we can contact you in the event of an issue. NOTE: when entering your social security number, you must use hyphens. Example xxx-xx-xxxx Your Mailing Address is your home address. Please note, your mailing address cannot be a P.O. Box. Press Continue. STEP 11: CHECK YOUR IDENTITY As an extra step to confirm your identity and protect you from fraud or slamming, the system generates a series of four questions. All of them need to be answered, but please note that None of the Above is also a valid answer. If you entered your contact information but you did not get these verification questions, it may be due to several reasons, a typo in your name, miss keying your SSN, or address mismatch, among others. At the end of the enrollment you will be prompted to call Mobile Support at 877-743-5893. STEP-BY-STEP ENROLLMENT PROCESS 6
STEP 12: SUMMARIZE YOUR ORDER AND MAKE YOUR PAYMENT A summary screen of your order will appear. Additionally, you will see the summary of charges to the right, which include what charges are due today* and what your monthly bill will be. * Charges due today are the activation fee + tax. STEP 13: ENTER YOUR CREDIT CARD INFO Enter your credit card information for the activation fee + tax. A check is not acceptable payment for the activation fee. STEP 14: ACCEPT THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS Read and accept the Terms and Conditions. Please note that these terms and conditions integrate terminology for mobile, energy and other services. STEP 15: ORDER CONFIRMATION The next page is a confiramtion page of your payment and the completion of your order. This means: 1. Your plan and devcies were selected 2. Your identity has been verified 3. Your payment processed sucessfully 4. Your account has been created For GSM customers, if you requested a new number, or all your porting information is accurate and complete, you should recevie your sim card in 3-5 business days. Once you recevie your SIM card, install it according to the instructions and give Stream a call at 877-743-5893 to complete your activation. For CDMA customers, you will receive further instructions.
