PowerTV HSIA (High Speed Internet Access) is a new system of Internet Connectivity, created by VDA, that allows guests to surf from their own laptop in their hotel room and common areas. HSIA is a revolution in terms of its ease of use, flexibility of options and the creation of access codes. A high level of professionalism makes the management of Internet connections by reception, incredibly simple. 1 The SYSTEM is easy to use A clear, practical web-based interface can be accessed from any computer connected to the network. 2 CONNECTIVITY is quick to activate With only 3 clicks, the operator at reception can generate an access code for guests wishing to surf wirelessly. Another click and the code is printed out together with instructions, meaning no more scratch cards and thus lower operating costs. Room connections are even easier; guests simply plug in laptop cable and accept the charge.
3 Connection TIME is configurable Hotels can offer Internet connections with multiple configuration options, including variations on connection duration, speed and price. For example, hotels can configure offers from 1 hour to several days according to the level of usage or cut-off times. 5 The PRICE is configurable The wireless connection selling price is determined by the hotel with full autonomy. For connection in rooms via cable, hotels can also offer free connection to a single room or groups of rooms. 4 Even the connection SPEED is variable With PowerTV HSIA the connection speed can be configured according to either customer needs or those of the hotel to restrict, for example, the consumption of total bandwidth. 6 Buying new CODES is simple Hotels purchase code packages for sale from VDA. Ordering is as simple as shopping online. Simply enter the management interface, and in a few steps the operation is completed.
7 The USER INTERFACE is customizable Notes Once connected, the user accesses an interface provided with the logo of the Hotel and, among other things, a weather widget. The interface is customizable and hotels can choose from the available templates or create a look and feel based on an original design layout. For special requirements, hotels can configure free access to web pages or use a default login page like the one here to your right. 8 A SUMMARY is just a click away There are detailed reports on traffic volumes, access and revenue. All of the hotel s internet connectivity is organised in tabular form and graphs.? Final information In accordance with the provisions of the Terrorism Act, VDA Multimedia will ensure the traceability of Internet traffic generated, both for navigation by cable and wireless from rooms and from public areas, thus relieving the Hotel of this responsibility.
