Students will receive the opportunity of a lifetime to perform in one of the most famous concert halls in the world! Included in Trip: Roundtrip transportation via Air from San Antonio, TX to New York City, NY. Dedicated guide from Company Security Guard at Night Rehearsal on Day of Arrival (Saturday) Tentatively we will have a guest clinician to work with students Dress Rehearsal on the Stage of Carnegie Hall Concert Performance in Carnegie Hall Post-Concert Reception Ground Transportation in and around NYC. Guided walking tour of Central Park, 5th Avenue and Grand Central Terminal With sites to include*: The Dakota Strawberry Fields, Bethesda Fountain, Literary Walk, Belvedre Castle, Tavern on the Green Admission to Top of the Rock Admission to the NBC Studios Tour Admission to a Broadway Show (allotment of $90) Show Options TBD. Based on availability and rear mezzanine seating. Ferry Ride and admission to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island Visit to the 9/11 Memorial Visit to the National Museum of American Indian GTC Guided Tour Visit to some of Downtown New York s most famous sites. Including*: Battery Park, Chinatown, Wall Street, Times Square, Federal Hall, Little Italy, 9/11 Memorial, St. Paul s Chapel, Canal Street 4 night accommodations at a standard hotel property in New Jersey The hotel will have interior corridors, accommodations up to 4 in a room and other group friendly features. AirFare budget is $500 per person, and $1500 for everything else included. Chaperones prices will be similar but will be dependent on room occupancy for the final price. They will be approximately $1500-$1700 for their trip. All prices are dependent on Four Students per Room. Due to the nature of planning this far out prices will probably fluctuate some. We should have final total costs by around January of 2016.

En route the group will pass through NY s Government Center (site of the courthouses for numerous famous trials, film, and TV shoots) 1:00 pm Group arrives at Chinatown/Canal Street. Group given time to shop and explore in groups. 5:00 pm Group leaves for a restaurant in Little Italy for dinner. 5:30 pm Dinner at Italian Restaurant is served. 6:30 pm Dinner concludes, walk to motor coach. 6:45 pm Group loads coaches and departs for Times Square/Mid-Town Manhattan 7:30 pm Group arrives in Mid-town. Odem Bands 2016 Trip Agreement My son/daughter (Printed Student Name) will be attending the Odem High School Band s June 2016 Trip to New York City, New York. I understand that after September 3 rd, 2015 the will be no refunds possible of any trip funds. Prior to that time only the amount above the initial deposit will be refundable. At no time shall the $120 deposit be refundable. I also understand that on the trip my child will be expected to follow all school and band rules, and that failure to comply may mean my student may be sent home at my expense. Trip Sponsor Agreement Form I (Print Name) parent of (Print Students Name) would like to be a sponsor on the 2014 OHS Band Trip to New York. I understand that Mr. Rash will make the final choice of volunteers by November 1 st, 2014. I will pay $120 in deposit by that date. I also understand my rate will be slightly lower or higher than the students dependent on the number of sponsors that stay in one room. I further understand and acknowledge that Mr. Rash is responsible for the welfare of the students while on this trip and will do all that I can to help him make the trip a great experience for the students. Finally no sponsor shall be considered that has not successfully completed a background check form by this date. I understand I will also have to complete an additional one by October 1 st of 2015 to qualify again for the year of the trip. A clear head at all times is imperative while sponsors are responsible for student welfare. I agree that for the duration of the trip I will not consume alcohol or illegal substances at any time.
