Heart Health Matters. PRAGUE, CZECH REPUBLIC 27 30 SEPTEMBER 2016 first announcement updates on www.imsprague2016.com

Join us in Prague Dear Friends, As President elect of The International Menopause Society and Chairman of the Organising Committee for the 15th World Congress on The Menopause it is my great pleasure to invite you to join us in Prague, the capital of The Czech Republic from 27-30 September 2016. IMS world congresses have, in the past, occurred every three years but the IMS Board has now decided to move to a 2 yearly cycle commencing with this our 15th World Congress. Prague is a wonderful venue, full of history, in the centre of Europe and at the same time vibrantly progressive. Our Scientific Committee, headed by Professor Susan Davis has already commenced planning what will be a high quality, globally relevant programme befitting both our World Congress and IMS commitment to promote and advance communication education and research on all aspects of the health of adult women world wide. Please, mark the date in your diary now and I hope to see you in Prague in September 2016. Rod Baber President elect of The International Menopause Society and Chairman of the Organising Committee for the 15th World Congress on The Menopause We cordially invite you to the 15th World Congress of IMS which will be hosted in Prague, Czech Republic. The Czech republic is situated in the heart of Europe and boasts Prague as its capital and largest city. Since it's founding, Prague has often served as the political, cultural, and economical core of central Europe. This city is famous for its historical and cultural attractions and an undeniable magical atmosphere. This was recognised by UNESCO In 1992 when it included the vast centre of Prague in the list of World Heritage Sites. Prague exhibits a mixture of Romanesque, Gothic and Renaissance architecture. Due to its countless numbers of towers, churches and old houses, Prague even earned the nickname "the city of 100 towers". Besides the Prague Castle, Old town square, Charles bridge and the old Jewish town, Prague is also home to the oldest university in Central Europe. Charles University was founded in 1348 and with its 17 faculties comprises the largest university in the Czech Republic. Charles University serves as the centre of research and development work in the country. With sincerely Tomas Fait President of The Czech Menopause Society
