Computer Based Test fees are not included in the course price. Computer based project fees are included in the course price. As demand for Computer Based Tests (CBT) is high it is advisable to book your CBT at the same time you book your course as this way you can get your preferred date at your chosen BPP location. We recommend sitting your CBT within three weeks of completing the course while the knowledge is still fresh. To qualify for our Pass Assurance you must sit the exam within three weeks of your course ending. Level 2 Processing Booking Transactions should be sat before Control Accounts, Journals, and the Banking System. The Computerised Accounting unit should follow after the two accounting papers. Basic Costing and Work Effectively in Accounting and Finance can be completed at any stage (either before or after the two accounting papers). PLEASE NOTE THAT IT IS POSSIBLE FOR STUDENTS TO COMPLETE THE BOOK KEEPING CERTIFICATE AT LEVEL 2 TO MOVE STRAIGHT ONTO LEVEL 3 (See below) Level 3 Accounts Preparation must be completed before Prepare Final Accounts for Sole Traders and Partnerships. The other papers can follow in any order as long as the Costs and Revenues unit is attempted after the two accounting papers. Level 4 It is preferable that Financial Statements is completed before the optional External Auditing unit. Budgeting must be completed before Financial Performance or both papers can be studied alongside one another. If both tax papers are chosen then it is preferable if Personal Tax is studied before Business Tax if possible. The Internal Controls and Accounting Systems project must not be studied alongside any other unit due to the intensive regular work required to complete the project. Other AAT Awards Level 2 Award in Computerised Accounting (CPAG) This single unit qualification is available at Level 2. On completion, students will be able to use a computerised accounting system to enter accounting transactions, perform a reconciliation, correct errors and produce a range of reports. They will also be able to maintain the security of accounting information using password and back up routines. To study for this award, students should book the CPAG unit which is available on an online classroom course. Level 2 Certificate in Bookkeeping This qualification is made up of the Processing Bookkeeping Transactions and Control Accounts, Journals, and the Banking system units from the AAT Accounting Qualification. Students looking to complete the qualification should book for these two units on any of the ways to study. This qualification is a fast track route to the Level 3 AAT Acounting Qualification. On completion of the Level 2 certificate, students can progress straight onto Level 3 of the main AAT Accounting Qualification.
