Prepare additional documents for Korean visa issuance. - [Degree from Korea] Original certificate with the degree number - [Degree from foreign countries] Issued or translated in English and 1Apostilled or 2Notarized by Korean consulate(embassy) in your home country or 3Notarized by Foreign consulate(embassy) in Korea. - Document submission by e-mail will be rejected. - All application documents must arrive at the graduate school office before the deadlines. - No application fee for international students. - Each department will decide the way for an interview and contact applicants individually. - Contact each department office directly to check when and how to conduct an interview. - Graduate School Homepage (English) Admission Admission Guidelines Admission Result - Log-in with your application number and password which you set for application, then check the result. - Graduate School will check whether admitted students will enter Inha Univ. or not and where they stay by sending an e-mail. - Submission of the medical examination result(there will be a special notice for successful applicants in late June.) - No reply about the offer of admission or a serious problem on the medical examination result can be the reason for rejecting issuance of the formal certificate of admission. - International Center of Inha University will issue the formal certificate of admission. - Admitted students will get individual guidance for Visa(D-2) application based on countries where they stay and visa types. - After checking student ID number, access Inha portal system (http://portal.inha.ac.kr), complete course registration, and print out the tuition bill. - Tuition payment : Finance team on the first floor at the main building or bank transfer (Hana Bank) - It is mandatory to attend the orientation. - Detailed information will be sent by e-mail - 1 -

Degree Program Degree Program Master's Doctoral Integrated Duration 2 years + α 2 years + α 4 years + α 'Duration' : The minimum enrollment period to complete the degree program. No Master's degree will be given after completing integrated Master's and Doctoral degree program. Only Ph.D. will be conferred. - 2 -

3. Department (Major) From this semester, submitting TOPIK(Test of Proficiency in Korean) is mandatory. (level 3 or higher) But, some department can be applied by submitting English score instead. * Y = Yes (Those who have level 3 or above of TOPIK are only allowed to apply) - In these departments, application without level 3 or above of TOPIK will be rejected. - The minimum level is higher than level 3 for some departments and majors. Check it carefully. * N = No (Those who have level 3 or above of TOPIK are also allowed to apply. application will be accepted without level 3 or above of TOPIK. But Official certificate of English Proficiency must meet one of the score below instead.) 4. Eligibility Category Application type A Application type B Nationality Applicants who have foreign citizenship. Common eligibility Degree [Master's and Integrated] The applicant must have (or will achieve before the date of entrance) a Bachelor degree (4-year program) or a diploma that is equivalent to or higher than a Bachelor degree. [Doctoral] The applicant must have (or will achieve before the date of entrance) a Master's degree or a diploma that is equivalent to or higher than a Master's degree. Type of eligibility Applicants whose parents have foreign citizenship. Applicants who have completed entire education courses (elementary, junior high, high school, and university) outside of South Korea. - Documents which prove entire education are required : Official certificates of each degree/graduation & transcript Applicants who does NOT meet 'Application type A' can only apply as 'Application type B'. Please check the required official certificate of Language Proficiency from each department first before submitting applications. Applicants should be in good health, both mentally and physically, to stay in Korea for graduate studies. (It is mandatory to submit the result of the medical examination after getting admission.) 5. Required documents for application 1) Application form (Print after online application and write your signature and attach your photo) 2) Resume (Designated form: Download, with photo) 3) 3 photos (3cm X 4cm, with white background) - one for the application form and the resume each, and the last one for extra 4) Official certificates of degree/graduation [Degree from Korea] Original certificate with the degree number [Degree from foreign countries] Issued or translated in English and 1Apostilled or 2Notarized by Korean consulate(embassy) in your home country or 3Notarized by Foreign consulate(embassy) in Korea. Alternatively Chinese applicants can submit both 敎 育 部 學 歷 證 書 電 子 注 冊 備 案 表 and ( 學 位 ) 認 證 報 告. - Documents should be translated in English/Korean and notarized officially, if they are in other languages. - Chinese applicants have to submit certificates of both degree and graduation. - Applicants who achieved a degree from Pakistan have to submit the certificate of degree with the confirmation seal of the HEC(Higher Education Commission) of Pakistan. - Applicants for the doctoral program must submit official certificates of degree about both Bachelor and Master's program. - Applicants in the last semester of Bachelor or Master's program must submit the anticipated graduation certificate mentioning the exact date of graduation along with a transcript of all completed semesters. The final degree certificate must be submitted before entrance after getting admission. Or your admission will be canceled. - Applicants who currently stay in Korea from below 21 countries must submit two certificates of degree; one for Inha University and the other for Immigration Office about visa affairs. Transcripts apostilled or notarized by Korean or foreign consulate(embassy) are recommended. - Documents should be translated in English/Korean and notarized officially, if they are in other languages. - Applicants for the doctoral program must submit official transcripts about both Bachelor and Master's program. - Applicants who achieved a degree from Pakistan have to submit transcripts with the confirmation seal of the HEC(Higher Education Commission) of Pakistan. - Transcripts must contain credits and obtained scores(marks) of each subject, C.G.P.A.(Cumulative Grade Point Average) or percentage of applicant's total grade about the whole program. - 7 -
