An improved framework for climate change adaptation Through legislative amendment, the Ministry of the Environment wil ensure that waste water utilities have the possibility to co-finance projects, carried out by municipalities or private enterprises, which involve roads, watercourses and recreational areas and which assist the wastewater utilities in their efforts to manage surface water in relation to climate change adaptation. More consultancy and a new knowledge base From 2012 to 2014, the Ministry of Transport will map the stateowned road and rail network using GIS screening with a view to identifying locations at risk of flooding PAGE 8
