5 CLIMATE CHANGE ADAPTATION Roskilde as frontrunner Climate Adaptation is part of Roskilde s Climate Plan 2011 Unique co-operation with Roskilde Utility Company Innovation and sustainable solutions as a natural part of city planning Have worked hard to fulfil the Danish Government s demand for an adaptation plan in 2013 The City Council approves Strategy and Action Plan for Water and Climate Adaptation in May 2013

18 RABALDER PARKEN - MUSICON Facts Open canals for low intesity rain site cast concrete for rollerskating etc. on a dry day Two reservoirs in use for stormwater every 2nd to 5t year - green recreational areas in dry seasons The bowl for extreme stormwater in use every 10t year only Total reservior is m2 but primarily for recreative use Concrete constructions partly made by hand to ensure the perfect surface for skating Economics the technical part - same as a traditional underground solution - the recreational part..help from fundraising
