1 st DAY Arrival to Copenhagen transfer by bus, metro or speed boats or environmental friendly limousines! Check in at hotel or start with a city tour. Meetovation tour of Copenhagen by bus, Metro and walking tour duration: 3-4 hours The Grand Tour of Copenhagen is an extensive tour covering all the major sights of the Danish Capital and a visit to the Freetown, Christiania. We will count the steps we walk throughout the whole tour! The tour starts with a visit to Christiania, the famous Freetown, which was founded in 1971 by some hippies on an area of abandoned military barracks. They developed their own rules, completely independent of the Danish government. A local Christiania-guide will show you around for an hour. We will continue on foot and take the metro to the City Center of Copenhagen. We will walk across Kongens Nytorv, where we can see the Royal Theatre, world famous for its Royal Ballet, and to the colourful canal district. We see the Stock Exchange walk past Christiansborg Palace, home to the Danish Parliament and past the National Museum. We take a boat for a 1 hour habour tour and afterwards continue to the Tivoli Gardens and the New Carlsberg Glyptotek and end by the Central Station. 4 hours Based on minimum 35 participants, per person from: 62,- Lunch: Prepare your own Danish lunch: You will get recipes and in smaller groups, you will be instructed in preparing your own Danish open sandwiches. Prices from 40 Treasure hunt through the streets of Copenhagen duration: 3 hours Find the hidden treasures while you walk around in Copenhagen. You get to know the city and the Danish lifestyle. During this teambuilding activity, your group will be divided into different teams and will have to complete the treasure hunt route by finding the correct answers that will lead to the treasure. Your group might have to use public transport in order to get to the indicated places - of course while competing. Your only helper is a map! The treasure hunt can also be done on bicycle. Lego Serious Play Solve problems the Danish way; think out of the box! Duration: 3 hours Lego Serious Play is a consultant service whose goal is fostering creative thinking through team building metaphors of their organizational identities and experiences using Lego bricks. Participants work through imaginary scenarios using visual three-dimensional Lego constructions, hence the name "serious play". The method is described as "a passionate and practical process for building confidence, commitment and insight". The approach is based on research which suggests that hands-on, "minds-on" learning produces a deeper, more meaningful understanding of the world and its possibilities. It is claimed that participants come away with skills to communicate more effectively, to engage their imaginations more readily, and to approach their work with increased confidence, commitment and insight. Price from 99 per person including 1 facilitator. Afternoon tour on the canals by boat with some light games included duration: 3 hours Have a few hours of fun in Copenhagen! Everyone will get on the boat. (The boat can dock close to the hotels). Here the group can be divided into smaller group. While we pass the Little Mermaid the group is told the story of the Little Mermaid. On the way the group will get more knowledge of Copenhagen by a guide onboard. There will be given a puzzle of the Royal family from the 19th century (Christian the 9th), they will make the puzzle and each person is a brick in the puzzle (each brick of the puzzle has a number). The boat tour will take about 50 minutes and then it will dock at Amaliehaven. Here an ICS representative will wait for one of the groups with items that will help the group make the perfect 19th century picture. The other group will go to the gallery close by and make a painting expressing their impressions of Copenhagen so far, more activities can be added if necessary. At the end, they all end at a restaurant. Here the groups will have to perform the end of the Little Mermaid freestyle! Fun and interaction is guaranteed. Rickshaw to Kokkeriet - cook your own dinner with a Michelin chef A Cooking Class generally starts at 16.00, but it is also an option to start at 11.00 or at completely different hours of your choice. Upon arrival, you will be served a glass of champagne and the participants are introduced to the concept. At 16.15 we start off with part one, the wine tasting, where we taste some great wines and focus on tasting techniques and basic wine theory. At 17.15 we head into the kitchen, where the participants are divided into teams. The teams can with advantage be set in advance based on who will benefit most from working together. In the kitchen you prepare a 5 course dinner from scratch: 2 starters, 2 mains, 1 dessert and sweets for the coffee. At 19.30 you are seated and the dinner starts. Our staff takes over and serves the 5 courses, the matching wine and coffee after the dessert. At 22.30 we are done with the official part of the evening, but you are of course more than welcome to stay and enjoy the evening. Danish design tour & energizer lunch 2 nd DAY Visit to the Danish Design Center & the Royal Copenhagen Collection The tour starts off with a visit the Danish Design Center, where changing exhibitions illustrate the variety of Danish Design. The Danish Design Centre is located in the heart of Copenhagen in a building designed specifically for the Danish Design Center by architect Henning Larsen. During the tour we will also visit the museum of the Royal Copenhagen Collection" which takes you through the remarkable journey of the production of porcelain in Denmark from 1775 to the present day. The history of the craftsmen, the artists and the royalty that created Royal Copenhagen unfolds your eyes on the second floor of the Royal Copenhagen Flagship Store on the pedestrian street of Strøget in Denmark. Afterwards the tour will take you to the Black Diamond, The Royal Library Lunch at Restaurant Søren K & a guided tour at the Royal Library, The Black Diamond Søren K is named after the Danish philosopher Søren Kierkegaard: Life can only be understood backwards; but it must be lived forwards. Due to Restaurant Søren K s location, inside the Black Diamond (part of the Royal Library), the atmosphere here is very special. The new structure, built in black granite and finished in 1999, is one of the most avantgarde buildings in Copenhagen, overlooking the harbor side. The menus are in tribute to the produce of the season served in a modern and stylish restaurant with a great atmosphere.
There is also the possibility of a guided tour of the Black Diamond to get the group introduced to the history of the Royal Library before seated for lunch at Søren K. In March 2011 the restaurant received a Bib Gourmand award (from the Michelin guide), that highlights a reduced number of restaurants due to their good quality/price relation. During lunch various Energizers will be facilitated by the guide. You can choose between the following: Direct your own Crime 3 rd DAY Walk around Copenhagen filming your very own Danish crime scene, getting your inspiration from the Danish world famous series such as Borgen, The Killing, The Kingdom etc., you will be able to visit Zentropa or Nordic Film studio before being let loose to create your own short film. This activity is based on teambuilding and incentive activities involving your acting, cooperation and communication skills. The group will have a fun and yet constructive time while creating their own commercial or short movie clip.
