It was named after a late 19th century painter who used to work there. It offers two dining areas - one on the ground floor and the other upstairs - two beautiful spaces full of history where the guests can taste typical Catalan dishes and Tapas. Gothic Quarter (walking): Feel the weight of two millenniums of history in a unique walkway. Barcelona s Barri Gòtic contains the city s historic buildings, marking the zenith of the city and its medieval culture. Walk through the quarter and view the outside of the most famous buildings. Among the sites to see are the Cathedral and Palau de la Generalitat. Eixample (panoramic on bus): An extension of the city designed by engineer Ildefons Cerdà in It is one of the most unusual singular urban spaces in the world, with its apartment blocks and commercial buildings. Along this route, you will visit the monumental symbol of Barcelona, the Sagrada Familia temple (the great-unfinished Masterpiece of famous Catalan architect Antonio Gaudí), visited and consecrated by Pope Benedictus XVI in November Feb-2012 AXP Restricted Page iii of 6

5 Passeig de Gracia (panoramic on bus): Barcelona s most elegant avenue and one of the best architectural walks in the city. You will have the opportunity to admire the Casa Milà (La Pedrera) and Casa Batlló designed by Antonio Gaudí, between other significant constructions. Montjuïc & Olympic Ring (panoramic on bus): The most popular events of the 1992 Olympic Games were held in the various locations on Montjuïc, well worth visiting. You will have the opportunity to admire the most emblematic buildings constructed for the Olympic Games like the Olympic Stadium and the futuristic Palau Sant Jordi. Lunch at ESCRIBA Anchored in front of the sea, in an idyllic location due to the views and the peaceful environment, El Xiringuito de Escribà, a restaurant with nice, young atmosphere, invites us to enjoy its specialties. The gastronomic offer approaches us to a simple marine cuisine far from excessive complications. In no case can we forget this family's roots, so it is a must to try their incredibly extraordinary desserts, which will top up our dinner. With its high quality Mediterranean gastronomy and the carefully chosen decoration, it has a privileged location that permits a wonderful sea-view of the fishing harbor and the marina of Barcelona. Its cuisine is constantly evolving but remains true to its early style which proved so popular, it s based on traditional fish restaurant cooking, with simple but elaborated recipes, and always with the freshest and highest quality products.
