New Technologies for Emerging Markets WELCOME >> > Countries such as India, China, Brazil and Russia are the emerging markets in the automobile sector. The introduction of the Tata Nano, the rapid development of automobile production in China, the takeover of Jaguar by Tata and last but not least the increasing professionalism of customer acquisition in these markets at trade fairs and through car showrooms show the potential opportunities of these markets. European companies, both from the manufacturer's and the sub-supplier's point of view, must ask themselves with increasing urgency which technology strategies they need to choose in order to do justice to the customers' requirements in these markets and thereby to participate in sustained market growth. The international ATZlive conference, New Technologies for Emerging Markets, will address these questions under the patronage of Dr. Clive Hickman of Tata Motors, amongst other things, will show which strategy options are available for entering the market in the so-called BRIC states. In addition, topics such as safety, green manufacturing and cooperation with local companies will form central areas of discussion in the context of the specific constraints of these markets. The papers and presentations will be given by top-ranking representatives of OEMs and from the supply industry. Learn about the future developments in "New Technologies for Emerging Markets," in one day, in the context of specialist presentations and group discussions, led by experts. Talk to the speakers and the other participants. We will be happy to welcome you to Frankfurt. Johannes Winterhagen Editor-in-Chief, ATZ MTZ
