Executive Leadership Programme Introduction Executive Leadership Programme is the essence and latest knowledge from the Executive MBA at IE Business School, the number 3 business School in Europe according to Financial Times 2015. The programme is targeted at top leaders, executives and specialist on a high level, who don t have the need or time for a full Executive MBA. The first module will be handled by HPI School of Design Thinking, a sister organization to the famous D-School at Stanford University. 2nd and 3rd Module are handled by IE Business School. Content The Executive Leadership Programme challenges you in innovation and business modelling on a Executive MBA level. It explores the possibilities to innovate every aspect of business, driven by smarter thinking, better design and effective implementation. Overall description Key Learnings of the Programme Our strategic challenges cannot be solved solely by traditional thinking and classic theories by e.g. Michael Porter, Ansoff etc. These theories are 20-30 years old and probably better suited for a more stable world than the rather chaotic situation many companies find themselves in today. The rapid development makes it impossible to develop strategies that can run for many years into the future. Our strategic thinking needs new inspiration. This inspiration could be found in fields like anthropology, where the crux is to understand customers behavior and not based on technology alone. Design is not only product design but also design of business models and the two combined. Just think of IDEO s and Apple s revolutionary strategies. This is the next wave of methods and tolls to create winning strategies. You will therefore benefit from participating in the Executive Leadership Programme and gain insight and understanding for the latest knowledge and tools available. Our faculty will be some of the best in the world within their area of competence. The Executive Leadership Programme is a world-class programme on Executive MBA level. 3 4
