余 雋 禧 仇 慧 琳 宣 教 士 夫 婦 Email & Skype: missionarykenny@gmail.com 二 零 一 五 年 十 二 月 家 書 親 愛 的 主 內 弟 兄 姐 妹 和 朋 友, 分 享 家 事 自 從 兒 子 於 七 月 出 生 後, 我 們 的 生 活 簡 直 是 翻 了 個 天, 每 天 忙 著 餵 奶 換 尿 布, 哄 睡 覺, 但 相 信 這 也 是 每 對 新 任 父 母 必 經 之 路 感 謝 主, 兒 子 已 踏 入 四 個 月 大, 相 對 穩 定 了 許 多 我 們 的 事 奉 和 生 活 漸 漸 重 返 軌 道 分 享 美 國 之 行 今 年 十 月 適 逢 華 傳 美 國 辦 事 處 舉 辦 二 十 週 年 感 恩 聚 餐, 感 謝 主, 讓 我 們 有 機 會 參 與 其 中, 也 得 以 順 道 探 望 慧 琳 的 父 母 和 親 友 慧 琳 母 會 為 希 明 舉 辦 了 一 個 歡 迎 會 ; 我 們 也 有 機 會 在 教 會 分 享 我 們 的 事 工, 和 弟 兄 姐 妹 一 起 崇 拜 唱 詩 歌 ; 還 有 親 朋 好 友 的 熱 情 款 待 ; 都 讓 我 們 感 動 非 常 我 們 夫 婦 二 人 彷 彿 旅 途 歸 家 的 孩 子, 在 親 友 弟 兄 姐 妹 的 熱 情 裡, 重 新 得 力 也 越 發 堅 定 我 們 在 工 場 事 奉 的 心, 因 為 我 們 不 是 孤 單 兩 個 人 獨 立 工 作, 我 們 乃 是 擁 有 一 個 強 大 的 後 防 支 援, 用 禱 告 關 心, 甚 至 實 際 行 動 托 扶 著 我 們 分 享 事 工 點 滴 經 過 差 不 多 一 年 的 認 識 和 觀 察, 我 們 發 現 華 人 即 使 在 這 裡 工 作 作 生 意 生 活, 但 大 部 份 的 華 人 都 不 會 視 哥 倫 比 亞 為 長 久 移 民 之 地 來 自 廣 東 的 華 人, 多 從 事 餐 館 生 意, 當 生 意 上 了 軌 道, 有 足 夠 積 蓄, 他 們 就 會 尋 求 移 民 到 北 美, 或 投 資 移 民 或 送 兒 女 到 北 美 留 學 美 國 加 拿 大, 才 是 他 們 夢 想 落 地 生 根 的 地 方 近 年, 因 歐 洲 經 濟 滑 落, 大 批 福 建 及 浙 江 人 轉 移 到 南 美 謀 生, 開 百 貨 商 店 做 批 發 等, 讓 哥 倫 比 亞 的 華 人 數 目 激 增 了 許 多 從 今 年 一 月 至 今, 哥 倫 比 亞 首 都 波 哥 大 的 華 人 氣 氛 濃 厚 了 許 多, 走 在 街 上 或 商 店, 甚 至 還 偶 爾 可 以 碰 上 一 兩 個 華 人 同 胞, 這 是 以 往 很 少 發 生 的 事 這 些 華 人 多 單 純 只 為 做 生 意 賺 錢, 中 國 哥 倫 比 亞, 甚 至 歐 洲 輪 流 跑, 甚 少 長 期 留 在 波 哥 大 但 這 批 生 意 人 中, 尤 其 從 歐 洲 來 的 那 批, 當 中 不 乏 基 督 徒 弟 兄 姐 妹, 因 此 教 會 近 來 也 多 了 這 批 成 員, 不 過
他 們 多 只 是 參 加 崇 拜, 缺 乏 投 入 教 會 服 事 意 願 相 信, 如 果 哥 倫 比 亞 經 濟 滑 落, 這 批 生 意 人 也 會 隨 之 離 開, 前 往 他 國 繼 續 尋 求 商 機 另 外 還 有 一 些 中 國 國 企 公 司 的 外 派 員 工 中 國 留 學 生 旅 遊 工 作 的 年 輕 人, 這 些 也 多 為 短 期 居 留, 停 留 時 間 幾 個 月 到 一 年 不 等 我 們 需 要 把 握 時 間, 趁 他 們 在 哥 倫 比 亞 期 間, 帶 他 們 認 識 耶 穌, 學 習 過 基 督 徒 生 活 不 過, 要 有 心 裏 準 備, 不 能 寄 望 他 們 信 主 後 在 我 們 教 會 成 長 事 奉, 我 們 更 需 要 為 他 們 介 紹 安 排 回 國 後 的 屬 靈 的 家 綜 括 我 們 目 前 服 事 的 三 方 面 團 體, 雖 然 浮 動 性 如 此 大, 不 能 長 期 在 哥 倫 比 亞 生 活 在 教 會 成 長 服 事, 但 我 們 將 致 力 在 波 哥 大 作 鹽 作 光, 成 為 他 們 在 波 哥 大 的 屬 靈 的 家, 無 論 是 短 期 或 長 期, 在 波 哥 大 期 間, 可 以 有 一 個 教 會 讓 他 們 敬 拜 主, 可 以 有 一 個 小 組 溫 暖 他 們 幫 助 他 們 屬 靈 成 長 感 恩 與 代 禱 感 謝 上 帝 帶 領 我 們 一 家 平 安 完 成 美 國 之 旅, 期 間 有 機 會 在 不 同 地 方 分 享 做 見 證 感 謝 上 帝 感 動 弟 兄 姐 妹 教 會 願 意 支 持 我 們, 甚 至 計 劃 來 哥 倫 比 亞 短 宣 求 主 帶 領 我 們 與 教 會 弟 兄 姐 妹 同 工 感 謝 上 帝 的 帶 領, 讓 我 們 最 近 有 機 會 在 幾 個 場 合 接 觸 到 不 少 華 人, 派 發 福 音 單 張 中 信 月 刊 和 號 角 月 報 求 主 使 用 這 些 刊 物, 願 華 人 朋 友 藉 此 有 機 會 認 識 福 音 雋 禧 和 慧 琳 開 始 為 一 六 年 教 會 弟 兄 姊 妹 的 靈 命 成 長 方 向, 尋 求 神 的 帶 領 願 主 給 予 雋 禧 慧 琳 智 慧 和 異 象 規 劃 教 會 成 長 南 圖, 更 有 效 地 培 養 弟 兄 姐 妹 的 屬 靈 成 長, 成 為 合 主 使 用 的 門 徒 衷 心 感 謝 您 們 在 禱 告 中 紀 念 我 們! 雋 禧 慧 琳 希 明 二 零 一 五 年 十 二 月 寫 於 哥 倫 比 亞 波 哥 大 溫 馨 提 示 : 如 欲 支 持 我 們 的 宣 教 服 事, 可 寄 支 票 至 華 人 福 音 普 世 差 傳 會 ( 華 傳 ) 地 址 :63 Silver Star Blvd, Unit C17, Toronto, ON MIV 5E5, Canada, 電 話 :416-756-2111 抬 頭 請 寫 : GO International Canada, 請 註 明 Kenny Yu & Sarah Sau, 奉 獻 收 據 可 作 免 稅 用
Kenny Yu & Sarah Sau Email & Skype: missionarykenny@gmail.com Dec 2015 Newsletter Dear Brothers and sisters in Christ and Friends, Sharing about our family Since the birth of our son Isaias, our life is very different in so many ways. Everyday, we are busy at feeding, diaper changes, putting him to sleep but we understand this is what every new parents have to go through. Praise Lord, Isaias is four months old now. Everything is becoming more stable, and we are slowly back on track, in both our daily life and ministry. Sharing about our trip to USA Our mission organization Gospel Operation International celebrated its 20 th anniversary in Oct. Praise the Lord for giving us the opportunity to be part of this celebration. And we also were able to visit Sarah s parents, friends and relatives. We were touched by the warm welcome from Sarah s church brothers and sisters, family and friends. Sarah s home church hosted a welcome party for Isaias. We got to share our ministries to church brothers and sisters. We felt like we were travelers on a long journey travel who finally returned home. We got to refresh and strengthen ourselves in all these warm welcome. These give us strength and faith to continue to serve in the mission field, for we know we are not working alone. There is a team of supporters who are praying and caring for us, and supporting us by their actions. Sharing about our ministries We have lived in Bogota for about one year. Through this year, we discovered the Chinese people rarely see Colombia as their long-term home. Instead they are here
just for work and to make a living. For those who came from Guangdong province, they mainly open Chinese restaurant. After their business becomes stable and they accumulate enough savings, they will try to find ways to immigrate to North America. They have placed their dreams on North America. In the recent year, since the economic decline in Europe, many Mandarin speaking Chinese have moved their businesses to South America. These businesses include both retail and wholesale. Starting January this year, walking down the street or in shopping mall, we find more and more Chinese people. However, their only purpose for staying in Colombia is to make money. They rarely stay in Colombia all year round. They often travel between China, Europe and Colombia. Among these business people, some are Christian, who now come to our church s Sunday service. However, they are only here for the worship service, but lack the motivation to serve. We believe if one-day Colombia should encounter economic decline, they will relocate to other places for business opportunities There are also other groups of Chinese in Bogota, which includes students, working holiday traveler and also Chinese company s employee who work aboard. They usually stay a couple of months or no more than a year. So we need to seize the opportunity to share the gospel with them while they stay in Colombia. We shall not only lead them to Christ, but also teach them how to live a Christian life. And we shall be prepared that they may not serve in our church. Instead, we will help them find a spiritual home when they return to China. As we look at the three major groups we serve, even though they may not stay long term in Colombia and may never serve in our church, this will not discourage us to continue share the gospel with them. Let us be the light and salt in Bogota and be the spiritual home for these travelers while they stay in Bogota, Colombia. Let us provide a place for them to worship our Lord, and a place to help them grow spiritually. Praise and Prayer Praise Lord for a safe and wonderful trip to US. The Lord gave us opportunities to share in various places. Thank you Lord for inspiring brothers, sisters and churches to support us. Some of them even plan to come to Colombia for short-term mission. Pray for the Lord s guidance in our partnership with more churches. Thank you Lord for giving us opportunities to meet with many Chinese people in Bogota and were able to pass out gospel tracts, Christian magazine and newspaper to them. May Lord use these materials as a channel to lead these Chinese people to
Christ. We are seeking the Lord s guidance as we are working on our 2016 ministry plan. May the Lord give us the vision and wisdom to layout a blueprint for church growth and help brothers and sisters grow spiritually. Thank you for partnering with us in prayer!
