TERM ONE Introductory project: Why learn a foreign language? UNIT 1: Bonjour! Greetings, say your name and ask someone their name. Ask how someone is and say how you are. Numbers to 20. Ask and say age. Understand simple classroom instructions and build up classroom vocabulary. Use a dictionary effectively. UNIT 2: J habite ici Find out about La Rochelle. Extend numbers and use questions, quantities, money, prices to shop. TERM TWO UNIT 2: On fait des projets Different countries (mainly Europe) and prepositions. Use aller + infinitive to describe what and when you are (not) going to do something. Different means of transport. Describe a village/town/city using pouvoir to say what you can( t) do.
