On arrival transfer to your hotel just off the famous Gran Via and check-in for a three-night stay. Join your Tour Manager on a short orientation walk. Evening: hosted welcome drinks and dinner. 2 Madrid Morning: a guided walking tour through the most picturesque area of Madrid dating from the Habsburg dynasty. You will also see the famous clock in the Puerto del Sol, the Plaza Mayor, the Cathedral, all within walking distance of your hotel. Afternoon: after free time for lunch we include a visit to the Prado Museum. The museum houses works by Bosch, Titian, El Greco, Rubens, Velázquez and Goya. Evening: enjoy a traditional flamenco show with dinner. 3 Toledo Full day: guided tour of Toledo, set on a hill above the plains of Castilla-La Mancha. Known as the city of the three cultures, the great diversity of artistic styles has led to the old quarter being declared a World Heritage Site. Free time for lunch and further exploration.

Evening: dinner in the hotel with a drink. 4 Train to Córdoba Morning: free to explore Madrid, followed by an included light lunch before catching the high speed train to Córdoba. Your luggage will travel separately and will be waiting for you on arrival. Afternoon: transfer to your centrally located hotel overlooking the Guadalquivir River, and check-in for a six-night stay. Your Tour Manager will take you on a short orientation walk. Evening: dinner in the hotel with a drink. 5 Córdoba Morning: explore Córdoba with a guided walking tour. As you stroll round the old quarter you will discover a beautiful network of alleyways, squares and white-washed courtyards surrounding the Great Mosque-Cathedral. This city, which has UNESCO World Heritage designation, is a living legacy of the different cultures that have settled here. Afternoon: included tapas lunch followed by free time to explore the centre further or relax in the hotel. Evening: dinner in a local restaurant. 6 Seville Morning: a guided tour of the Andalucian capital, taking in the ornate Alcázar Palace complex and the bullring. You will also see the huge gothic cathedral, the site of Christopher Columbus s tomb, and the Giralda Bell Tower. Afternoon: free time for lunch and to soak up the atmosphere of this delightful city before a cruise on the Guadalquivir River to experience the best views the city has to offer. Evening: dinner in the hotel with a drink.

7 Olive oil tasting and lunch Morning: we drive to Baena for a tour and olive oil tasting at a familyrun olive grove, one of the few still using the traditional stone mills. Afternoon: after an included lunch this afternoon is free to relax in the hotel or enjoy Córdoba at your leisure. Evening: dinner in a local restaurant. 8 Granada, including the Alhambra Palace Morning: take a walking tour of the old town and learn its fascinating history. The city was the last stronghold of the Moors before reverting to Christian occupation. Our tour is followed by free time for lunch. Afternoon: visit the stunning Alhambra Palace and fortress complex on its strategic site overlooking Granada. Its name means the red one and comes from the mountain on which it is built. Restoration of this UNESCO World Heritage Site continues today. Surrounding the Alhambra are the magnificent gardens of the Generalife, which have inspired many musicians and authors. Evening: dinner in the hotel with a drink. 9 Antequera and Andalucian lunch Morning: visit Antequera, a delightful town. Its many churches with wonderfully ornate interiors leads to the town being referred to as the 'Florence of Andalucia'. We enjoy a short guided walk. Afternoon: visit the village of Alfarnatejo in the hills for a typical fivecourse Andalucian lunch cooked by local housewives. This is a great opportunity to gain some insight into day-to-day life. Evening: a tapas dinner in a local restaurant, followed by an Andalucian equestrian display. This amazing performance, illustrates the perfect combination of elements of classical Andalucian horsemanship. A great way to spend your final evening on this holiday.

10 Málaga and Botanical Gardens. Departure for the UK Morning: after breakfast check-out of the hotel and depart for the Botanical Gardens on the outskirts of Málaga. The estate of La Concepción is an impressive park where they have exotic plant species brought from across the world. This is a romantic garden with winding paths, ponds, waterfalls and streams and we have a guided tour here. Afternoon: we drive to a viewpoint over looking Málaga before a drive to the centre of town for an included lunch followed by free time to pick up some last minute souvenirs. Evening: travel to the airport for your flight back to the UK. Entrance to the Prado museum with guided tour is included. Guided city tour of Toledo The beautiful imperial city of Toledo will surely impress you. It is located 70km away from Madrid. It is one of the oldest towns in Europe, called 'city of the three cultures', since Christians, Muslims and Jews shared its grounds. Its genuine Spanish architecture includes examples of many periods in history (Arab, Gothic, Mudejar, Renaissance and Baroque style). Here the great painter El Greco lived in the XVI century. Let yourself be guided along the streets of this charming and magnificent city. Guided city tour of Córdoba Visit the Mosque-Cathedral of Cordoba, one of the most visited monuments in Spain, conserving the style from an Islamic Mosque together with the Cathedral. Its construction belongs to the 8th century and it became the second biggest Mosque in the world. You will discover inside a forest full of columns and double arches, the Maqsura, the Mihrab and the impressive chorus located close to the Mayor Chapel. During this guided tour you will visit the Jewish quarter located near the Mosque-Cathedral one the most visited historical areas where you find the Synagogue, the Jewish Street, the Arabic market and the bronze statue of Maimonides. All this is across the river just a stones through from your hotel. Guided city tour of Seville Seville is often referred to as the 'Jewel of Andalucia' and it's easy to see why; the city has such a lot to

offer with its rich and colourful mix of history and culture. You will visit its famous baroque cathedral; the largest in the world, with its Moorish tower from which the best views of the city are to be had, the Alcazar or Moorish palace and garden, the Roman ruins of Italica and the old tobacco factory that was the inspiration for Bizet's opera Carmen. Did you know that the city of Seville is present in over 100 operas? Operas by Mozart, Rossini, Bizet and other great composers chose Seville as the setting for their masterpieces. Guided city tour of Granada & Alhambra Palace Visit Granada to discover the famous Alhambra Palace - a World Heritage UNESCO Site and the second most visited site in Europe. Enjoy a guided walking tour of the historical city centre of Granada with its enormous Moorish, Christian and Jewish cultural heritage. You will have free time for lunch (extra cost). Then you will visit the mighty Alhambra Palace. Discover a maze of magnificent halls and intimate courtyards decorated by rows of elegant arches, bubbling fountains and splendidly carved decorations. Continue to the Generalife, a royal place of leisure and recreation with beautiful exotic gardens, stunning water features and the lingering aroma of jasmine to remind you of a grand Muslim past. Guided city tour of Antequera Antequera, is a real wonder, with a richness in monuments, history, old churches, roman ruins, arabic vestiges and medieval atmosphere. You will enjoy a guided tour through the quaint streets. Antequera is deservedly a UNESCO Patrimony of Mankind since July 2016. Malaga: Concepción Botanical Gardens The Concepcion Historical-Botanical Gardens were created in about 1855 by the Marquis and Marchioness of Loring and subsequently extended by the Echevarria-Echevarrieta family. They are home to an exquisite open-air collection of tropical and subtropical flora. Plant species from Europe, America, Asia, Africa and Oceania are all on show here. You will enjoy a tour here with time to enjoy the fabulous variety of plants. Andalucian horse show Passion and Spirit of the Andalucian Horse is an amazing performance where the art of horsemanship comes together with traditional music and dance to offer the audience thrilling entertainment. The show is a perfect combination of elements of classical and Andalucian horsemanship, including disciplines such as work in hand, linked with the equestrian history and traditions of the city. Olive oil tasting with lunch Discover the luscious world of liquid gold and experience the beautiful Andalucian countryside, walking among majestic olive trees, together with our English speaking guide. Flamenco show with dinner Currently considered the oldest in Madrid; Tablao Villa Rosa opened for the first time in the spring of 1911 as Cantante Café.
