ISO/TS 16949:2002 is an appropriate secondary school in order to proceed to the university with the goal of an Automotive Excellence degree. The pre-degree is a qualification that is reached when the duty ISO/TS becomes self-evident. VDA-QMC Conference, Berlin 2002 There is an apparent overlapping of content between ISO/TS 16949:2002 and the EFQM Model, which can be utilized for further progression to Automotive Excellence. With the ISO 9001:2000, ISO 9004:2000 and ISO/TS 16949:2002 the topical gap to the EFQM-Model became smaller.
