Installing Mobile Connect on your ios Device Accessing the application Open the Apple App Store on your device. Search for Vortex Connect and select Mobile Connect from the search results. Installing the application 1. Once opening Mobile Connect in the Apple App Store, select Free. 2. Select Install App. 3. Once downloaded, the app will appear on one of your device s main pages. 2

How to Log in 1. Select the Mobile Connect app from your mobile device. 2. At the Mobile Connect Login screen, Type your Username. You must use the correct upper/lower case syntax. 3. Type your Password. You must use the correct upper/lower case syntax. 4. Change Remember me to ON store your Customer Name and User Name. You will have to retype your password each time you login. 5. Choose Advanced. 6. Enter nss into Customer Id field. 7. Select Done. 8. Select Login. Note: Your Username/Password is derived as noted below. Your unique user name is: PeopleSoft employee ID number (six digit number) Please refer to your pay statement if you do not know your PeopleSoft ID number Your password is derived from familiar data: First letter of your first name (in lower case) First and second letters of your last name (in lower case) $ (a dollar sign) Last four digits of your Social Security Number (For example, if your name is James Madison, and your Social Security Number is 123-45-6789, your password is jma$6789) 3

1. Home Page Features 1.1 Approvals The Approvals function allows you to view and approve/unapprove time off requests and timesheets from your employees. Approvals can be accessed from the home page or the menu bar. OR The submitted time off requests and time cards are listed by employees first names. To save time from approving each request individually, you have the option to Approve All and/or Approve Clean. Note: The Approve Clean option only appears when there are exceptions within timecards. 5

1.1.1 Approve and/or Unapprove Timecards To view the employees pending timecards, select the Unapproved tile at the top of the screen. Choose the specific employee s timecard to view the details and make edits (by pressing the + button) before selecting Approve. To unapprove an approved timecard, press the Approved button at the top of the screen. Then select the specific employee s timecard that you wish to unapprove. Within their time card, select the unapprove button at the bottom of the screen. Alternatively, you can press Unapprove All to unapproved all approved timesheets. 6

Note: If the ADP system has already processed the employee time card, you may not be eligible to edit or change the timecard when it is approved. 1.2 Time The Time function allows you to see all your timesheet records. You can access your timecards by pressing the Time tile on the home screen or the menu bar. Once you are in Time, slide the screen to the left to view previous pay period time cards and slide the screen to the right to see future pay period time cards. OR 7

The top section of the timecard page provides a total of your paycodes hours for the pay period. As well the submission status, Submitted, Unsubmitted or Approved is indicated at the top of the timesheet. 1.1.1 Self Approving Timecards Slide the screen to the bottom to see the Submit button. Submitting timecards means approving one s own timecards in etime. 8

Once you have submitted the timecard, the green button will update to Unsubmit. Press on the unsubmit button to take back the submit action. 1.1.2 Viewing Timecard Details Within timecards, you can select any specific day to view details. 9

1.1.3 Adding a Time Entry To add a new time entry to your time card, select the + button located at the top right corner of the screen. This will directly bring you to the Add Entry screen. Select the appropriate information for each field, and then press Done to complete the process. Return to the Timecard screen after creating a new time entry and refresh the pay period by sliding the screen downwards until you see the refresh loading circle appear from the top of the screen. 1.1.4 Editing a Time Entry To edit a time entry, simply press on a specific day. Select the Edit button at the top right corner of the screen. 10

Press on the time entry you wish to edit. Select Done to complete the process. If changes are not updated immediately, please return to the Timecard screen and refresh the pay period by sliding the screen downwards until you see the refresh loading circle appear from the top of the screen. Note: You must adjust the time worked for any day on which you enter time off so that the total for the day is correct. 11

1.1.5 Deleting a Time Entry To delete any existing time entries, press on the red circle located in front of each time entry record. Select the Delete button to remove the particular time entry. Press Done to complete the process. 12

2. Menu Bar Features 2.1 Team The Team function allows you to access all your direct report employees available information (i.e. contact information) and time cards. To search for employees, scroll down the list, or press the first letter of the employee s last name, or type the employee s name in the search bar at the top of the screen. 13

To select an employee, click on the employee s name. This will direct you to the employee s home screen where the employee s contact information is displayed at the top and the available features below. 2.2 More Select the More button to view additional features. To edit the position of each feature, select Edit, then drop and drag the feature icons to the desired location on the menu bar. Select Done to complete the customization. 14

2.3 Hyperfind The Hyperfind function allows you to update the MMC mobile app to view employees based on the set criteria. The Hyperfind queries must configured in the ADP etime platform and the Manager must have the appropriate permissions in the ADP etime to execute it. Select the applicable hyperfind option then proceed to the feature you wish to see the hyperfind is applied to. 15

2.4 Logout The Logout function allows you log out of the application. 16
