The meeting will be held in the main building of SP (Brinellgatan 4, Borås). You ll be staying at Best Western Hotel, Borås at Sandgärdsgatan 25. There s in principle three routes that you need to get a hold of; 1. Landvetter Airport - SP, Borås 2. Landvetter Airport Borås City/Hotel 3. Borås City/Hotel SP Below here are each route separated using different types of transportation; i.e. buses, taxis or rental cars (appendix A - Directions for driving). 1 Landvetter Airport - SP, Borås There are a few available options of how to get from Landvetter Airport to SP, Borås; public bus, air coaches, taxi or by renting a car (Directions for driving). 1.1 Landvetter Airport SP, Borås (Public bus Västtrafik, public transport) Bus No. 511 (Partille centrum via Landvetter centrum) from Landvetter Airport that departures from Landvetterhotellet which is basically straight ahead across the parking slot when you walk out from the arrival hall. You get off at Landvettermotet which is the first stop after about 10 minutes. At Landvettermotet you have to cross the road by the overhead bridge and get to opposite side of the road ( Läge B ). From here you take bus number 101 (Expressbuss 101 mot Borås Sjukhus via Bollebygd) for about 40 minutes to the stop called SP (if you re going directly to the meeting at SP). Once you get off here, SP is on the right hand side, just follow the directions towards the reception and you ve arrived at your destination! Please note that bus No. 101 does not traffic the route all day. For information regarding the departure times from Landvettermotet, please go to http://www.vasttrafik.se/en for live updates of the time schedule. The site is also useful if you travel between SP and the hotel in Borås. You can buy the ticket on the bus using your credit card. 1.2 Landvetter Airport SP, Borås (Public buses Swebus) Another possibility for going by bus is to choose Swebus, but they only departure 7 times/day at the following times on 12 th of March, Departure outside the arrival hall @ Landvetter Airport Arrival @ Borås ReseCentrum 08:15 08:55 10:40 11:15 11:55 12:30 14:35 15:15 17:10 17:50 20:20 21:00 23:45 00:25 You buy the ticket in one of the Pressbyrån shops inside the airport for about 60-70 SEK or online at http://www.swebus.se/swebusexpress_com/ to a reduced price. Once at Borås ReseCentrum, you follow the directions below on how to get to SP, see Borås ReseCentrum to SP, Borås. 1.2.1 Borås ReseCentrum to SP, Borås Once you get to Borås ReseCentrum you ve to take either bus No. 404 (Bollebygd), No. 5 (Sjömarken) or No. 159 (Sandared) and get off at the stop SP. Once you re off the bus, just follow the signs to the reception and you re here! A trip for about 5-10 minutes and it ll cost you 24 SEK. You get the tickets onboard the bus (using your credit card) or in the Pressbyrån shop at Borås ReseCentrum. Total travel time (including Borås ReseCentrum SP) is about 1 hour for a total price of less than 100 SEK for a single adult ticket. From Borås ReseCentrum you can also take a taxi. Just tell them you re going to SP, Brinellgatan 4 and they ll take you there in 10 minutes. Phone numbers to the taxi companies can be found in Borås City/Hotel SP (taxi). 1.3 Landvetter Airport Gothenburg City - SP, Borås (Airport coaches Flygbussar http://www.flygbussarna.se/en/landvetter) The airport coaches departures every 20 minutes right outside the arrival hall at the airport. You can either buy your tickets on the bus using your credit card or in one of the vending
2013-01-14 3 (7) machines located right by the bus stop. A single adult ticket costs 99 SEK (89 SEK if you buy it online) and the bus will take you to Korsvägen/Svenska Mässan (Gothenburg City). Once at Korsvägen, you take bus No. 101 (Borås Sjukhus via Bollebygd) for 55 minutes and get off at SP and once at the bus stop you ll see SP on the right hand side. Just follow the signs to the reception and you ve arrived at your destination! As No. 101 only departures at certain times, you might have to take bus No. 100 (100 Borås) and get off at Borås ReseCentrum. Once at Borås ReseCentrum just follow the directions given on how to get to SP from there, see Borås ReseCentrum to SP, Borås. Please note that you ll arrive with the airport coaches at Korsvägen Läge C and both buses to Borås departures from Korsvägen Läge H. Just follow the signs for directions. When travelling with public transport (all buses expect Swebus and Air Coaches) http://www.vasttrafik.se/en/ is a useful site for directions and live updates of the time schedule. Total travelling time for Airport coaches and public transport, via Gothenburg City, is approximately 1.5 2 hours and costs around 225 SEK. 1.4 Landvetter Airport SP, Borås (Taxi) There re cabs just outside the arrival hall and if you tell them SP, Brinellgatan 4, Borås they ll take you there in about 30 minutes and it ll cost you somewhere around 500 SEK. Taxi Borås +46(0) 33 12 70 70 (also useful when going between SP and the hotel) To ensure that there ll be a cab waiting at your arrival it s smart to pre-book one using the number above.
2013-01-14 4 (7) 2 Landvetter Airport Borås City/Hotel As for going to SP from the airport, there re a few alternatives on how to get to Borås City/Hotel; buses, taxi or driving. 2.1 Landvetter Borås City/Hotel (public transport) See descriptions for Landvetter Airport SP, Borås (Public bus Västtrafik, public transport), but instead of getting off at SP, you continue on bus No. 101 for about 5-10 minutes until you get to Borås ReseCentrum. For directions from Borås ReseCentrum, please see below. 2.1.1 Borås ReseCentrum, Borås Hotel Best Western (Sandgärdsgatan 25) From Borås ReseCentrum, you could either take a 10 minute walk, following the directions in Figure 1, take a local bus (followed by a short walk) or a taxi. 2013-01-14 5 (7) 2.2 Landvetter Airport Borås City/Hotel (Swebus) If you manage to be in time for one of the Swebuses leaving Landvetter Airport (see Landvetter Airport SP, Borås (Public buses Swebus) for departure times), it will take you to Borås ReseCentrum. From here, please follow the directions given above in Borås ReseCentrum, Borås Hotel Best Western (Sandgärdsgatan 25) on how to get from Borås ReseCentrum to the hotel. 2.3 Landvetter Airport Borås City/Hotel (Taxi) If you re taking a taxi from the airport, just tell them you re going to Best Western Hotel, Borås at Sandgärdsgatan 25 and they ll take you there in about 30 minutes and it ll cost you somewhere around 500 SEK. 2013-01-14 6 (7) 3 Borås City/Hotel SP You ll be staying at the Best Western Hotel, Borås located at Sandgärdsgatan 25 in the city center. The way to get from there to SP and back is either by public transport (bus), taxi or by driving. 3.1 Borås City/Hotel SP (bus) The quickest way to get from the hotel to SP by bus is to first walk to Södra Torget and from there take buses, No. 404 (Bollebygd), No. 159 (Sandared) or No. 5 (Sjömarken via resecentrum) Walking to Södra Torget from the Hotel takes about 5 minutes and the directions can be seen in Figure 2. Bus tickets can be bought on the bus (credit card only) or in a Pressbyrån shop and costs 24 SEK for a single adult ticket. The bus trip takes around 15 minutes and you get off at the stop SP (where the meeting is held). 3.2 Borås City/Hotel SP (taxi) The easiest and quickest way to get at taxi is to pre-order one using one of the following numbers, Taxi Borås +46(0) 33 12 70 70 Taxi Kurir +46(0) 33 12 13 14 Tell them that you re going to SP at Brinellgatan 4 and they ll take you there in about 10 minutes.

2013-01-14 1 (5) Appendix A A. Directions for driving This is a separate appendix for those of you who decides to rent a car and drive to and from the Landvetter Airport and SP, Borås. I. Landvetter Airport SP, Borås (Driving) There are three car rentals located at Landvetter airport; Sixt rent a car - http://se.sixt.com/php/reservation?language=en&gclid=cii4j_h337qcfwz2caodx04amw Hertz - http://www.hertz.com/rentacar/reservation/home Europcar - http://www.europcar.com/ Driving from Landvetter Airport to SP, Borås take about 30 minutes. From the airport just follow directions towards roads 27 and 40. Once you re out of the actual airport area, you ll see a big blue sign on the right hand side that says 40 Borås, see Figure 3. Here you make a right in the first roundabout and follow road 40. Figure 3 Directions to Borås from Landvetter Airport After going about 34 km on road 40 you ll see Exit 83 and a sign that say Sjömarken Ramnaslätt, Viared Ö to the right, see Figure 4.

Then, go through the following roundabout and make a right in the second one and follow the signs to the reception. For complete detailed directions from Exit 83 to SP, see Figure 6.

Landvetter Airport Borås City/Hotel (Driving) Please see Directions for driving This is a separate appendix for those of you who decides to rent a car and drive to and from the Landvetter Airport and SP, Borås. Landvetter Airport SP, Borås (Driving) for directions from Landvetter Airport up onto road 40 towards Borås. BUT, instead of getting off at Exit 83, you continue on road 40 until Exit 86 (approximately 5 minutes), see Figure 7. Figure 7 Exit 86 on road 40 from Landvetter Airport to Borås City/Hotel by driving Once of road 40, keep left at the upcoming traffic lights. Follow signs saying Knalleland. After a short while you ll see an upcoming left lane and directions saying Polishus, P Hugin, make a left here at the traffic lights. Keep heading down that road until you get to a T-junction where you make a right. On the right hand side you ll now have the Best Western Hotel; you ve arrived! III. Borås City/Hotel SP (driving) From the hotel, take road 42 up onto road 40 (towards Göteborg) and get off at Exit 84, see Figure 8. After the exit, keep heading straight and SP will eventually appear on your left hand side after about 1.5 km.
