INTRODUCTION The Codorníu Group is the wine company with the largest area of privately owned vineyards in Spain. The Group have always cared and cultivated their own vines and shown a constant concern for producing optimum quality of grape in order to elaborate the finest wines and cavas. The group has grown significantly since 1997 due to an exhaustive investment plan that include wineries in the most recognised wine growing regions throughout the world. HISTORY PRODUCT RANGE Reina Mª Cristina Blanc de Noirs REINA Mª CRISTINA, a tribute to Queen Maria Cristina of Spain, who in 1897 awarded Codorníu the title Supplier to the Royal Household. On 2010 it was relaunched with a new coupage, the first Blanc de Noirs cava made from the red Pinot Noir grape. The result is a white cava with exquisite taste and intense aromatic nuances of white flowers and red fruits, typical from the Pinot Noir variety. Reserva, 15 months aging. Grapes: 100% Pinot Noir
Gran Codorníu Chardonnay Reserva A single-varietal Reserva cava, aged for more than 15 months in our cellars and partially fermented in oak. Crafted with Chardonnay from our own old vineyards located in the most continental vineyards within the Cava region where the grapes have a good structure and a high concentration of flavours. Gran Codorníu Pinot Noir Vintage The purest expression of the Pinot Noir grape and a terroir. Codorníu owns the oldest vineyards planted in Conca del Barberà, an area with a mild continental climate and slate soils. The grapes are delicated, aromatic and light with a mineral touch. Selección Raventós For years Selección Raventós was the cava set aside for the enjoyment of the Raventós family, thr fruit of a winefrowing tradition that spans 17 generations. On the occasion of the 125 anniversary of the first bottle of cava made by Josep Raventós in 1872, this selection was available to the public. Selección Raventós Rosé A rosé cava that is a combination of the widely known Pinot Noir varietal with the traditionals Macabeo, Xarel.lo and Parellada. Anna de Codorníu Its name is a tribute to Anna, heiress of the dynasty and the last person in the family with the Codorníu name. Anna was the first Cava that include Chardonnay grapes in its coupage. Anna de Codorníu Rosé This is the rose version of the Codorníu most iconic cava.
