White Macon Fuisse, Domaine Thibert A deliciously rich Chardonnay from Southern Burgundy made by Christophe Thibert, full of ripe fruit character with honey and citrus flavour. Ronchetto Soave Classico, Umberto Portinari Fresh, fruity and floral, a delicious dry wine made largely from the Garganega grape with a trace of Chardonnay in the blend. Umberto Portinari is regarded as one of the best growers in Veneto. Red Cotes du Rhône, Guigal 2005/ Largely Grenache, a nicely mature wine with typical earthy fruit style, produced by one of the most famous houses in the Rhone Valley Heredad Ugarte Crianza Rioja 2008/ Top quality Rioja from a leading bodega in Laguardia made largely from Tempranillo with a little Garnacha in the blend. The wine spends 15 months in oak before bottling giving it that lovely soft vanilla fruit style. Leo de la Gaffeliere, Saint Emilion A second wine of the Saint Emilion Premier Grand Cru Chateau made from younger vines. Largely Merlot with a good proportion of Cabernet Sauvignon this rich full soft Claret is now drinking very well.
