The Skyguard housing and trim are made of copper free die-cast aluminum, the wall bracket is extruded aluminum, all painted with a long lasting powder coat finish. Clear tempered soda lime glass diffuser, 0.11 thick. Gasket between trim and glass and one-piece molded EPDM gasket between trim and housing seals out water, dust and insects. Iron Gray and Matte Metallic Gray are standard. The standard finish includes a ten step process of cleaning pretreatment and painting. Thermally cured (TGIC) polyester powder coat paint is electrostatically applied to each fixture. This process ensures the finish will last for years without fading, chipping or cracking.
