2 DUST A luminaire for all conditions DUST is the family of hermetic luminaires that works best in spaces of high dustiness and humidity level in interiors as well as outside the buildings prone to acts of vandalism. 4 DUST Durable and resistant Materials used in production of hermetic luminaires guarantee that luminaires are safe, resistant to mechanical damages, acts of vandalism, and at the same time they have excellent lighting parameters. Body - durable materials and ergonomic shape 1 The aesthetic and resistant body of the fixture is produced from poliester strengthened by fiberglass by thermal formation method. Thanks to the use of this material, it has a flexible form and at the same time is durable and resistant to difficult working conditions. Clips which are attached to it are used for connecting mounting plate with electronic gear which also function as a reflector. The diffuser- excellent for places with difficult working conditions 1 The transparent and streamlined diffuser. 2 3 Thanks to polycarbonate which was used for diffuser production, it is: resistant to smashing, UV radiation, high temperatures and the influence of atmospheric conditions; permeable to daylight; durable and dependable. 2 The exterior part of the diffuser has a smooth surface owing to which it is easier to keep it clean. The interior part of the diffuser is grooved: enhances lighting efficiency, diffuses light effectively, limits dazzle. The edges of the luminaire are opaque from both sides. The diffuser fits the fixture thanks to durable clips. 3 li.pl

5 Hermetic and dependable Dust luminaire has undergone a number of laboratory tests which guarantee their reliability in hard working conditions. Clips resistant to repeated openings Clips close the diffuser and the body of the luminaire tightly. Owing to that, the whole luminaire is stiffened while the body that fits close to the diffuser does not allow dust and water to ingress the fixture. Clips are made of either polyamide (PA) or stainless steel. 4 5 Versions made of polyamide (PA) are durable, resistant to mechanical damages, and abrasion. In difficult thermal conditions, the luminaire maintains its shape. Versions made of stainless steel are an excellent solution in spaces of hard working conditions (mechanical damages, increased emission of UV radiation, etc.). 4 5 High resistance to water and dust 6 Thanks to a foamed polyurethane gasket, DUST luminaires have a high level of ingress protection. Additional protection is ensured by clips fixing the diffuser. A rounded shape of the luminaire hampers dust and water accumulation which makes keeping it clean easier. The quality confirmed by laboratory tests 6 7 A series of tests conducted in Elgo laboratory such as checking all parameters of the luminaire with respect to: electric tests, durability trials, thermal trials, resistance to dust and water. The fixtures fulfill demands of low voltage LVD Directive and compatibility electromagnetic EMC directive. 7 5

6 DUST Economic and efficient The different types of fluorescent lamps, magnetic or electronic ballasts, emergency modules and two ways of mounting ensure the universality of the usage. Energy saving light sources The DUST family includes fixtures which cooperate with the most popular light sources available in several varieties of power: 8 with one or two T5 fluorescent lamps 14 W, 28 W, 35 W, 49 W, 54 W or 80 W, 9 with one or two T 8 fluorescent lamps 18 w, 36 W or 58 W. 8 T5 T8 9 Different power supply systems A user of DUST luminaire has at his disposal few versions of power supply systems for fluorescent lamps: 10 the luminaires with electronic ballasts, 11 the luminaires with low losses magnetic ballasts, without compensation of passive power, 12 the luminaires with low losses magnetic ballasts, with compensation of passive power Emergency module - the safe evacuation 13 DUST series offers many options of emergency modules. In luminaire with a special system installed, emergency lighting is guaranteed for 1, 2 or 3 hours depending on the chosen battery.
