The goal of the Academy is to provide professional golf tuition to players of every skill level. Extensive practice facilities are available to help golfers develop their game, including a well appointed full-size Driving Range, Putting Green and Short-Game practice area. The instruction comes in various formats, tailored to the specific needs of the individual, couples, families and small groups. There is also a special program of Junior sessions and Junior Camps. Expert tuition is supported by the latest technology, such as Video Analysis and Golf Simulator. The Academy additionally provides Platzreife certification, the Green Card that helps new golfers enter the handicap system and play at many courses across Europe. The Head Pro at Navarino Golf Academy is Nicky Rombaldi, who has many years experience coaching golf in Canada, USA, Switzerland, Italy, Scotland and Ireland.

P L A T Z R E I F E G R E E N C A R D Navarino Golf Academy has set up a program to provide new golfers with Platzreife certification, the Green Card that helps them enter the handicap system. In order to qualify for the Platzreife certificate, players must gain a basic understanding of the golf swing, long game, short game, rules and etiquette. To help you attain this level, we have designed three different programs, at the end of which your golf skills will be tested both on-course and with a brief written exam. If successful, you will be presented with the Platzreife Green Card, which is honored by many golf courses in Europe, although they are not obliged to accept it. Which is why we are working hard to promote our Certification with Quality, for which you will be our best ambassador.
Platzreife Programs 4 Days 290 /person One week - 3 hours/day 12 hours - 9 holes 8 Days - 520/person Two weeks - 3 hours/day 24 hours - 9 holes Four- or eight-day programs designed for beginners or intermediate players wishing to obtain the Platzreife Green Card. The course will be quite intensive and comprehensive, covering Golf Swing Basics for the Long and Short Game, Rules & Etiquette, and a 9-hole round of golf on the last day. Junior Coaching 60 min 60 Private session 1 to 3 Juniors Junior Group Session 90 min 20 per junior 4-10 kids, Tuesday and Friday evenings. Times to be defined. Age group 8-16. Working with children is our passion; by teaching children the basics at an early age, the benefits of the lessons will last a lifetime. Using video analysis and on-course training, juniors will gain the confidence and technique to develop and improve their game. We strive to create a safe, relaxed and enjoyable environment for children of all ages. Golf Swing basics for long game (irons and woods play), short game (pitching, chipping, putting), Rules & Etiquette. Video Analysis when necessary for all coaching sessions. N I C K Y R O M B A L D I Head PGA Golf Professional From Crans-sur-Sierre in Switzerland, Nicky Rombaldi speaks and teaches in French, English, German and Italian. His long career includes the position of Head Golf Professional at Pemberton Valley Golf Club in British Columbia, teaching and coaching in Chicago, and with Peter Croker at the World of Golf training facility in New York and Boston. Nicky later perfected the art of teaching and club fitting *with his brother, Swiss PGA Thierry Rombaldi, in Zurich, before taking the post of Assistant Golf Professional at Delgany Golf Club, County Wicklow Ireland and becoming a member of the British and Irish PGA. Before being appointed Head PGA Golf Professional at the Navarino Golf Academy, he started and successfully operated his own Golf School in Ireland.
