WELCOME TO OUR ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT ASSESSMENT PORTFOLIO With environmental considerations and sustainable development at the forefront of many development decisions the need to deliver a well-constructed Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) is now paramount to the success of large-scale schemes. Over the last 20 years the UK s leading planning, design and economics consultancy Nathaniel Lichfield & Partners (NLP) - RTPI planning consultancy of the year in 2012, 2013 and 2014 - has developed significant expertise in this area. NLP has a proven track record of managing the EIA process, and of dealing with complex issues for clients across a wide range of development sectors. From screening and scoping, to coordinating multi-disciplinary teams, NLP has developed significant in-house knowledge and the skills and experience to provide a comprehensive service. This, aligned with our deep understanding of the legal complexities and the relationship of EIA to the wider planning and development process, places us at the forefront of EIA preparation and delivery. As a testament to this first-rate expertise NLP is proud to have been awarded an EIA Quality Mark by the Institute of Environmental Management & Assessment (IEMA). This brochure showcases our experience and demonstrates the benefits of using NLP.
