The existing building comprises a Grade II listed house with a part implemented basement extension. Full Planning Permission and Listed Building Consent was granted on 4th November 2010, allowing for the creation of a single dwelling house of just over 23,000 sq ft. An extension to the roof space has been carried out that incorporates space for two bedrooms and a new slate and lead roof.
