3 February 2015 Dear Parents and Guardians After a successful U14 Rugby Season I am extremely keen to build on the momentum that the squad has gathered. Next year sees the boys compete in the NatWest Cup, the national school s competition, so there are exciting challenges ahead. The two week October half-term is always a hindrance to the School s rugby teams as the boys may go three weeks without a match. To fill that void and to help the boys gel even more as a unit, I would like to take them on a short tour to the South of France in October. SportArabia, who we have used for tour to Dubai in the past, now offer tours to Bordeaux and Biarritz - a region rich in rugby heritage. The details of the tour that they have put together for us are attached. You will see that the cost of the tour is 625 but I would like to get the boys a tour t-shirt so the total cost will be 635. I appreciate that this is a significant amount of money for a four day tour but I hope that you will agree that it will be an exciting trip for the boys, both from a rugby point of view and as a more general educational experience. If you would like your son to come on the tour, please complete the attached form and send a deposit cheque to me for 200. Cheques should be made payable to Caterham School Ltd.
