School IT Systems Support Introduction The SIMS Autumn Release 2013 (7.154) includes completely new functionality to import and maintain Pupil Premium information. The DfE will make two files available to schools in CSV (Comma Separated Value) format which are downloadable from the Key to Success website. Separate files will be available for Deprivation Pupil Premium (DPP) and Service Children Premium (SCP). Schools may also receive Looked After Premium (LAP), but the DfE will not be providing a file for this premium as schools will receive this information directly from the LA. DPP Pupils recorded on the January 2013 School Census who are known to have been eligible for Free School Meals (FSM) in the previous six years, known as Ever 6. SCP Pupils recorded on the January 2013 School Census who were recorded as Service Children. LAP Allocated by the Local Authority. The premium information refers to allocation for the DfE financial year, i.e. 1 st April to 31 st March, rather than the DfE academic year.
