This catalog provides general information on design features and valve characteristics for the Galperti Engineering Trunnion Mounted Ball Valves (Single Ball) in Side Entry, Top Entry, Fully Welded and the GE Subsea configurations. The Galperti Engineering G-BLOK range of ball valves also includes double block and bleed valves, monoflange designs and manifolded multi-valve designs. The G-BLOK range includes standardized and special valve flow control products for use in instrumentation lines and flowlines in varied applications throughout the oil, gas, petrochemical and power generation industries. All G-BLOK designs incorporate laboratory and field tested proven product design features. The G-BLOK valves are available in all materials and trims and are engineered for project specific application and specifications. The Galperti in-house forging capacity and four generations of forging know-how supports the companys flexibility to design project specific packaging of multi valve configurations in a single integral forged bodied valve. The Galperti designs; monoflange, single valve and manifolded multi valves, provide a most effective solution to overall performance and optimization of weight and space considerations. Another Galperti Engineering product line is the G-LOK Clamp Hub Connector. The G-LOK products have an extensive installed base throughout the world. The G-LOK Clamp Connector is a fully proven alternative to the conventional flanged connection used in flowlines and pipelines throughout the oil, gas, petrochemical and power generation industries. The G-LOK Clamp Connector offers versatility, compactness in size, compactness in weight, cost effectiveness in the connecting piping system and re-usable metal to metal sealing. The G-LOK is manufactured from forging in a wide range of materials; carbon steels, stainless steels, nickel alloys, special alloys, duplex and superduplex and cladded configurations. The G-LOK is available in the full range of ANSI sizes and pressure classes. The Connector is designed to meet ANSI B 16.5, ASME VIII, API 6A/Q1 and other design codes. The design has the approval of Lloyds, DNV and Stoomwezen.The G-LOK design is fully fire tested in accordance with API 6FB parts 1 and 2. The G-LOK is also gas tested to meet all aspects of ASME B31.3 Chapter IX (e.g. 1400 bar at 180 C Gas test with bending). The G-LOK is a standardized product meeting or exceeding all current industry codes and standards. The G- LOK design can also be incorporated as an integral part of a valve body end connection or valve closure or can be designed for other pressure vessel closure or connection applications. Other Galperti Engineering forged products include Fittings and Flowline Products for onshore and offshore subsea flowlines, tie-ins and riser applications.. The product rangein all steel, stainless, duplex, super duplex and special alloys includes; thick wall pipe to 12 M lengths, pup pieces, reducing pup pieces, bulkheads end and intermediate, anchor flanges, wye pieces, barred tees, cross tees, piggable wyes, buckle arrestors, j-lay collars, connectors, pad eye assembly, and other forged pipeline components. 1

SF SF-S ST Solution YOUR PROBLEM In the conventional HOOK-UP of pressure instruments both the piping and instrument departments are involved in ordering and stocking separate valves, gaskets and other fittings. Assembling so many components suggests many potential leak points. This costly and time-consuming HOOK-UP has the further disadvantage of taking up working space, and produces a large bending moment. MF Range GAUGE BLOCK MONOFLANGE VALVES Gauge block monoflange valves work in conjuction with a pre-installed primary isolation valve. They provide very compact instrument Double Block and Bleed valving. This range is also available in a single block configuration. MS Range SLIMLINE PRIMARY ISOLATE VALVES The Slimline range incorporates a primary isolation piping valve and also combines the instrument Block and Bleed functions. They are designed to replace the traditional primary isolation valve. Our primary isolation valve is of outside screw and yoke construction and is designed to ASME VIII specifications. This Type of Double Block and Bleed Style Slimline shows special needle pattern bleed and secondary isolation valves. This Slimline type is also shown with gauge nut for ease of gauge orientation. Quality & Testing HYDROTEST/GAS TEST WORKING STATION Pneumatic test: air Hydrostatic test: water It is equipped with a control panel to choose the size and the pressure values of the valves in order to set the tests that can be carried out with direct reading of the leakage parameters. The parameter obtained by personal computer (for test certification). Moreover, the bench has a working station, that holds the valve to test: this is fitted to the valve test. Quality & Testing FIRE SAFE DESIGN Upon request, Galperti can provide a fire-safe design for ball valves which substantially reduces leakage through the elastomeric /polymeric seals when the valve is subjected to high temperature. If the seal inserts are destroyed by the temperature, a metal to metal seal is formed between the lower diameter of the seat and the ball, whilst seat to body seals, the stem packing, and the end connections to body seals (or the bonnet gasket fo a top entry design) are designed to resist high temperature and will remain undamaged. Valve fire-safe design is suitable to pass a fire test conducted in accordance with the standard API 6FA and BS 6755, and other users standards. Third party certificates of fire-safe testing are available on request. Our gate and needle valves are fine safe design.
