This document provides indications on the possible ways to reach Bergamo central station from any one of the three main airports in the Milano area. Consider in particular that: Malpensa is located in the far West area of Milan Linate is very close to the City Orio Al Serio is actually on the far East of Milan and very close to Bergamo MILAN MALPENSA AIRPORT- A) At the arrival The fastest way to reach Bergamo from Malpensa is: Taking a train (Malpensa-express) from the Airport to Cadorna Railway Station (Milan), then by suburban train from Cadorna Railway Station to Central Railway Station (Milan), then by train from Milan s Central Railway Station to Bergamo Railway Station. Otherwise, to go to Bergamo from Milan Railway Station you can: catch a bus at the Main Station (Stazione Centrale) to Orio al Serio Airport (10 km from Bergamo) and then go to the University (or to the hotel) by local bus. Travelling by bus is often slower for the queues on the highways around Milan. So we suggest you, if you are going by bus, to leave at least a hour in advance to get to the airport.
